Severe pain a and e or not

Got endometriosis had op and on treatment that’s not really working. past month or so I’ve been in really bad pain past week it’s been so bad that every 20 mins or so it cripples me I have to stand or sit completely un able to move. The pain shoots across my womb and both ovaries. I had an internal scan last weekend came back normal. It’s crippling me and I can’t do anything I’m dreading work tomorrow but I can’t call in sick as to many sick days I don’t no what to do the pain is so bad

Senior1, severe pain, especially post op IS a medical emergency and therefore appropriate for Accident AND Emergency.
Op, are you generally well, temperature, pulse rate, are you passing urine and tolerating fluids? These are all questions that would be asked in A&E.
OP, Sounds like you need better analgesia than codeine alone, can you take non steroidal anti inflammatories?.. like 400mg of Ibuprofen three times a day, plus paracetamol ( you can take all three together, assuming there are no contradictions to anti inflammatories).
I would check with your GP and see if there is a better painkiller regime..

Ibuprofen with food or glass of milk, don't take it if asthmatic. About 5% of asthmatics are aspirin sensitive, so check first.
If this is really debilitating, your GP will prescribe alternatives, though opiates like liquid morphine are and should be a last resort.
