To ask about baby modelling?

DD is 7 weeks and everyone comments on how gorgeous she is. She's also quite happy and chilled, so might she be a good candidate for baby modeling? What would it involve?

I agree with a PP to start with emailing JoJoMamanBebe. A friend of mine with a very nice but not exceptional looking baby boy was invited to take him to a big group photoshoot, not through any agency. I think they keep a big email database and you could register now and they'd contact you as and when they need, say 5 month old girls etc.

I'm pretty sure every mum has been told at some point that their baby is gorgeous. At one point, my baby looked like an infant Phil Mitchell off Eastenders.

Huggybear16 · 11/01/2019 14:58

Posted too soon.

I was still told he was gorgeous.

TipseyTorvey · 11/01/2019 15:02

I want to know who Phyllis is too!

Sparklfairy · 11/01/2019 15:15

I've never posted links before so I hope these work...

Disclaimer: no offence meant to the OP, it was meant kindly, I love Phyllis!

"As it's my first pregnancy, I'm very excited. I can't stop talking about it. I'm so lucky, so happy, so fortunate & so privileged. My baby feels so special, like I know my baby will do something incredible in this world - I can feel it!!"

I think my DS is gorgeous WinkGrin but I just couldn't cope with being told he's not as great as little bob who got the job over my DS. Not worth the money, stress or upset.

GhostSauce · 11/01/2019 18:55

Aw Phyllis was the best. Come back if you're out there!

Jebuschristchocolatebar · 11/01/2019 19:09

@Huggybear16 my friends baby looked like an infant mick hucknall for a while. We still laugh about it years later

Huggybear16 · 11/01/2019 19:48

@Jebuschristchocolatebar

I'd love to see an advert for Jojo or something with my infant Phil Mitchell and your friend's infant Nick Hucknall!

Huggybear16 · 11/01/2019 19:49

*Mick
My auto obviously thinks Mick isn't a real name

WhoAmIToTellYou · 11/01/2019 19:52

I had this idea with first DC😜
To have nest egg i think you might need connections inindustry.
But of course i might be wrong!

Huggybear16 · 11/01/2019 20:18

Did Phyllis ever come back? I was hoping she'd post after having her baby, but haven't seen anything?

FlippinNora1 · 11/01/2019 21:21

I reckon Phyllis is rocking in a corner covered in rejected baby led weaning vegan fajita morsels with Peppa Pig on autoplay Grin

Sparklfairy · 11/01/2019 21:28

Yes Nora!! Grin

Outherelivingmybestlife · 11/01/2019 22:02

Oh i miss phyllis too! I'd love it if she came back when though I know in my heart of hearts she won't.

Huggybear16 · 12/01/2019 18:54

@FlippinNora1 I think you're right

Babymodels UK are a scam, they sent several emails enticing me to join and when I did join they suggested that I do a portfolio so that my daughter be part of the A-list group of babies. The portfolio was extremely expensive, the website 'member area' was never updated with jobs the staff over the phone appeared to be clueless and I was never called or messaged about any castings let a lone landing a job. A complete waste of time and money. Parents stay away from this agency!
