Sorry..

This will seem pathetic.

I am emetophobic and have been sick about 7 times tonight and I feel so anxious and vile.

My have sent my darling OH downstairs to sleep as I would prefer to be alone.

I just want it over

I'm so sorry you've been so unwell. I hope you're past the worst!
I'm currently wide awake having a panic attack worrying about being sick and found this thread.
We only have one bathroom so it's intensified the worry.

Anyway, well done you for riding it out!

There’s a good meditation on the net for nausea and vomiting. I used it myself when I had a bug and i was vomiting so much it was making me feel panicky. Would you like me to post it here?

Candymay · 09/01/2019 01:21

You will feel better after tonight I’m sure.

I don’t have your condition exactly but I do really hate being sick and I often faint at the same time. I dread being ill but I think you have to keep strong in the knowledge that this will soon be over.

I don’t know whether this will make you feel better or worse but a couple of years ago I realised I could keep a plastic bag in a bin next to me rather than keep going to the bathroom. I think because I don’t have to get up it’s less traumatic.

Congratulations on your pregnancy and may you feel better in an hour!

Thank you once more everyone. Touch wood DD and DP are still ok. I have not been sick for two days now and am just a bit weak.

Cavycavy - yes please ! I would be really interested in looking at that.

I have decided I am also going to go back to GP reference my anxiety.

Good for you @hugsee, that sounds like a fab idea. Hope you continue to feel better and better from here on out Smile

Hand holding from here also Hugsee! Hope you're feeling better now. A family member suffers from that too so I've got an idea of just how awful it is! She uses a charcoal type anti emetic too.

Sending love Flowers
