To ask for your stories of how you met your DP/DH?

I've been single for a while now and have lost all hope of ever having the chance to meet someone. I'm a single mum with 1 child and between work and home life I just don't get out anywhere.

Can anyone reassure me with your stories of meeting your DP/DH? Give me some hope that it can happen!

We were in a group of friends for years. Both thought the other was taken, turned out we'd both been single for months! We didn't waste much time once we realised.

Match.com. I binned him twice initially as he was an American in the US air force based near me and their reputation wasn't great. Been married nearly 9 years

I was standing in a bar with friends. I saw him walking in and thought he was handsome...he saw me looking staring at him and he came straight up to me and introduced himself. I love confidence!
