Hi All

Not sure where to post, sorry if in wrong topic. Fell off all threads etc recently as not been well and couldn't keep up!

Experienced bright red blood on wiping today. Really bright!!

Tummy feeling a little crampy but I don't know if that is nerves or not.

Any thoughts?? Mainly looking for reassurance!! When should I be worried??

Good luck, OP. I had a huge bleed with DC 3 and thought it couldn't possibly be ok but it was in the end.

Fingers crossed for you Flowers

Wishing you good luck hugs x

Cheerbear23 · 02/01/2019 17:19

Fingers crossed you are ok.
I had bright red bleeding with my 1st which sadly ended in a miscarriage 2 weeks later, but also a weekly occurrence right upto 20 weeks with my DS who is 14 now.

jojosiwa · 02/01/2019 17:20

I've had bright red blood with implantation bleeding, which is fine. But I've also had it then it turned out to be ectopic. I don't want to alarm you but you are best getting checked. Go to your EPU and they will scan you. Good luck, we are here for you x

Tiredismymiddlename85 · 02/01/2019 17:20

If you're under 18 weeks, which you are, then you need to go to A&E!

Unescorted · 02/01/2019 17:25

Fingers crossed for you. Hope it is only a short wait in A&E.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 02/01/2019 17:26

Glad you're at A and E. Hope all is well OP, let us know how you get on.

Aeroflotgirl · 02/01/2019 17:26

I had bright red bleeding at 9 weeks with ds, I had 2 MC previously, so I was very scared. Phoned the Midwife and went to the EPU where they scanned me and found a healthy heartbeat, I was so happy. Hope all goes well with you Flowers.

Strongecoffeeismydrug · 02/01/2019 17:45

My daughter had bright red blood loss on 5 occasions throughout her pregnancy x
The first time at 9 weeks and the last time at 25 weeks x
I was convinced the baby had gone due to the amount (literally running down her legs) but emergency scans every time showed the baby to be fine x
He's now 14 months old and perfect x
I hope you have the same outcome x

thefinn · 02/01/2019 17:53

Keeping my for the best outcome and not too long a wait. flowers]

QueenofLouisiana · 02/01/2019 18:04

Just sending you a virtual handhold. Hoping all is checked soon and ok.

ElsieMc · 02/01/2019 18:12

I had early bleeding - but brown not bright red with my two girls. Was told I had probably miscarried, accepted this to find I was still pregnant. Sadly lost my third but I knew it felt different that time. I had a heavy bleed and felt unwell during the day.

I do hope all is well op. Do look after yourself.

Bacardi101 · 02/01/2019 18:16

Hope everything is ok OP I bled on both of mine and now have two healthy DD’s. Do you have anyone with you?

Really hoping for a positive update.
I bled heavily twice in my second pregnancy, all was well.

gimmeadoughnut123 · 02/01/2019 19:08

I can see you have already have lots of comments about what to do, so won't repeat.

But I live in the pregnancy section of this forum, I find it really helpful to chat to other women on there about all sorts. If you post in there about things any time, you will often get a lot of helpful replies and some stories.

Big hugs OP, I hope all goes well x

gimmeadoughnut123 · 02/01/2019 19:09

Just seen that you're at A&E - wishing you lots of luck, do update us xx

Sourtart · 02/01/2019 19:58

Hope you’re ok. A&E weren’t kind to me when I lost several of mine. I hope they are to you and that it’s positive news x

rainbowcakes · 02/01/2019 19:59

Hi OP, if you look at my posting history I posted the exact same thing last week - bright red blood at 9+3. No pain but my pj bottoms were covered in blood when i got up in the morning.

Got an OOH GP appointment that day and was referred for an early emergency scan the next day (christmas eve).

Scan showed that there was a baby with a heartbeat, no issues at all. The sonographer said for me that intercourse was the most likely cause as the cervix is more sensitive (we had DTD recently so it made sense)!

I have my fingers crossed for you, i know exactly how you're feeling Thanks
