I can't even bear to think about it.

I like my job, work for a good company, work from home a lot. But I've had such a lovely Christmas with dh and our two dc - going to miss them all so much today! The house already feels so empty. Trying to work up some enthusiasm for switching on my laptop today.

I have eased myself back by WAH today. I am back in the office tomorrow but don't work Fridays. My DH is the same so we are both still together and amazingly have not got on each other's nerves.

WAH means I have been very productive already. Had an email sift. Only a few are urgent.

I also organised myself before I went off. Emails in drafts ready to send etc. So feel quite chilled. Slept well last night which is not usually the case before I go back to work.

I don't like my job (or most of my colleagues) but the flexibilities are good. Have to keep telling myself that.

I intend to not engage much at work this year which will help with stress and boundary setting. I listen to the radio a lot (with headphones) and I am making a list of podcasts. I also have a noise cancelling app which drowns out annoyances (like colleagues chuntering on, loud typing etc)

It's not as bad as I expected. Have actually had a good day so far! 4.5 hours left!

It’s OK so far here too. 4 patients to go- finishing early due to staff holidays Grin
