I made arrangements to see a friend today. She said she would be here after lunch. She isn't here and it is nearly 5!!

I thought rue until you said they dropped off a child and left. Now I'm Shock

theworldistoosmall · 31/12/2018 17:59

You need to dump these people. They aren't your friends.

KnittingOnEmpty · 31/12/2018 18:01

'an hour or so'..... they'll be knocking at 00.15 pissed.

aaaaargghhhhelpme · 31/12/2018 18:03

I’d be calling her now saying to come pick him up cos she won’t be answering her phone later.

She’s no friend.

PierreBezukov · 31/12/2018 18:04

Very rude!

Dump these people as friends OP

WanderingTrolley1 · 31/12/2018 18:33

Piss-takers.

They sound awful.

gamerchick · 31/12/2018 18:34

Have they collected the child or do you have an overnight guest?

sayitisntsojo · 31/12/2018 18:56

Have you called her?

gamerchick · 31/12/2018 18:57

Give them a poke, ask them when they're collecting their kid.

dustarr73 · 31/12/2018 18:58

Do you know where they have gone.If you do just drop the child there.

TrainsandDiggers · 31/12/2018 19:02

I have a friend like this. When arranging now, I always make up an end time too as I have to be somewhere else by X time - it chivvys them on, but it’s still annoying I have to do it. Some people either think their own time is more valuable or are generally so laid back they wouldn’t care if someone did this to them. I am neither of those people! And time when you have children is a precious commodity that should not be wasted or spent with bored children!!

sayitisntsojo · 31/12/2018 19:30

Child has been picked up. I think @TrainsandDiggers is right, they are just not as bothered by timings as I am so no malice was meant by it.
