To have gained weight over Christmas?

About 4lbs to be exact. Oh well, no more cheese for me. I think it’s more down to being sedentary than huge amounts of food to be honest.

Has anyone NOT gained over Christmas? How much have you put on?

I don’t think I have but then I’m weird with food - don’t tend to eat meals just snack.

One day I realised I had eaten two mince pies only- One for breakfast and lunch?!! :)

I lost a stone and a half since May, put 4lb back on over Christmas, despite having run 15k over the week.

My period is due though, so I’m always heavier at this time of month. Hoping a week or 2 of sensible eating and I’ll get back on track - I still have 2 stone to go!

I don't know. 😂 Maybe a pound or two as I feel like I have a bit of a belly bloat going on, but it could be anything really. It's remarkable how little I care considering I was quite anorexic in the past. I'm just pleased I've been able to enjoy nice food and treats with my family and not stress about it. Yay for recovery!

I'm about the same which I'm really surprised at as I'm due my period too which always adds a few lb on. So maybe I've actually lost? Not sure.

I definitely have but after tmw I’m going back to normal eating so it should drop
Off.

I've gained 2lb but from experience when I gain from overeating at Christmas/on holiday a lb or two is usually just bloat and comes off quickly.

No I don't have to eat loads at Christmas but I like to enjoy myself Hmm who doesn't. After losing over 3st in 2016 an maintaining for 2 years I'm always aware of what I eat. Christmas/holiday is the only time I let myself eat what I want when I want. It doesn't mean I will eat a whole tub of celebrations or a full pack of mince pies in one sitting but if I want something then I'll have it.

I start gaining as soon as December starts from all the work drinks and client lunches etc. Definitely put on at least half a stone. But have had a sick bug the last couple of days so maybe that will help kick start the weight loss... although looking at my big tummy, I think it's going to take a lot of hard work 🙈

I've recently lost 25kgs so I'm very aware of not gaining too much and I still weigh myself every morning to keep on track. I've put on 0.5kg which I'm ok with, that'll be gone as soon as I am back to normal life so to speak. I actually wish all the goodies were gone out of the house because they I'd have no temptation, but that's not fair on the rest of my family ! I'm just really glad it's only half a kilo, that's no problem to lose.
