Name change and copying a trending thread :)
Doing the new year new me bullshit. I was to be a perfect ten. How much do you weigh and what size do you wear?
I'm a good 12 and about 10stone 8 (before 37 thousand mince pies)

JonSnow - because the OP asked for people who are 5’ 8 weight and clothes size...

northernstars · 30/12/2018 01:07

6ft even and just under 15 stone which is mainly depression/medication weight gain. Size 18 which I'm hoping to shift in 2019.

ragged · 30/12/2018 01:34

size 8-10 on bottom, size 14-16 on top. 141.5 lbs the other day. (10 stone + 2lbs?) I wouldn't mind being 5 lbs lighter, but feel I'm pretty close to perfect size. shoulders like a long-shoreman.

worthygirl · 30/12/2018 06:29

I’m 5 ft 8, 11 stone 10 and a size 12 in most places Confused - after reading this thread, I feel like I need to lose a stone though!

worthygirl · 30/12/2018 06:30

Is it possible to be big boned?! GrinConfused

TheCag · 30/12/2018 06:37

I'm 5'8". I'm happiest at about 9st 7lb which is a size 8-10 for me. If I get to 10st I'm a solid size 10.

9 months pregnant at the moment though, getting back under 10st is a 2019 goal!

BooHasAPressieForYou · 30/12/2018 06:44

No idea what I weigh but I'm 5ft 8 and depending on time of the month I'm a 14 or 16.
Rhianna is in America so US size 8 is our size 10 I think?

DavidBowiesNumber1 · 30/12/2018 06:55

OP, you might find this website interesting - www.mybodygallery.com Click on "search image gallery" and you can put in your height, weight, age, clothes size etc. and it'll show you photo's of people with the same information. Don't worry, there's nothing sexual or suggestive on it, it's just photo's of anonymous bodies.
It sometimes helps me to look when I'm having a bit of a weight crisis and need a bit of perception. Oh god, I'm not saying that's you though!

DavidBowiesNumber1 · 30/12/2018 06:56

Clothed bodies, they're clothed not naked! Grin

WishIwas19again · 30/12/2018 07:06

5ft 8 and I weigh 15 stone, size 20, pear shaped so it's all dangerously sitting around my tummy and bum. For years was 12-13 stone and a comfortable, toned, healthy size 14/16. Piled on the weight following both my pregnancies Sad

Huntawaymama · 30/12/2018 07:14

5ft 5in 10stone on the dot. Size 12. Im breastfeeding my 6m old but once I've done another 6m of that I'd like to lose 1/2 stone and tone up. It wouldn't take much for me to be a 10, tbh I'd probably be a 10 on top now but not going clothes shopping until the nursing is finished

MummyItsallaboutyou · 30/12/2018 07:32

I'm 5.8 and this morning weighed in at 11lb 11. I'm a 12/14 in most of my clothes. The NHS BMI calculator now has me just in the overweight category. My aim is to get to 10 1/2 stone by the summer.

Amanduh · 30/12/2018 07:36

5’9, about 10.5 stone puts me at a perfect 10.

Sigh81 · 30/12/2018 07:37

ust shy of 5ft8: 56 kg, sz 8-10. Would say this is my optimum weight in terms of being able to eat what I like (without going crazy), doing moderate exercise which I enjoy and feeling good in my clothes.

I veer between 54 and 59kg, depending on how busy I am (I lose my appetite when this happens) or whether I have been on holiday. Still seem to stay the same size though.

SerenDippitty · 30/12/2018 07:41

I’m 9st, 5ft 2in and 9st 2lb. Gained 2lb over Christmas. . I have an underactive thyroid. I eat healthily, used to exercise a lot more but haven’t been able to recently - knee trouble and just been diagnosed with osteoarthritis.

SerenDippitty · 30/12/2018 08:05

Meant to add size 10.

lidoshuffle · 30/12/2018 08:27

At 5'8'' and 10st 3lb I look a slim but curvy size 12. That used to be a size 14, but vanity sizing over the years means clothes are bigger now!

I slimmed to 9st 10lb once and a friend told me to put more weight on as I was getting too thin, and I think she was right.

Topofthehills · 30/12/2018 08:38

5'7", 11 stone 4. Size 10-12.

I have a small waist and chest, so all my weight's on the bottom. I'm probably a 12-14 in trousers, but I rarely wear trousers anyway.

I was very slim indeed at 10 stone; about 10 and a half stone was a good weight for me.

AuntieStella · 30/12/2018 08:54

I'm 5ft 7 and usually weigh just under 9stone. I can be anywhere between a 4 and a 12 because clothes sizing is so useless an indicator of what size a garment is actually going to be!

I like the size I am (well not right this second, after Christmas, but what I will be by end Jan). I look slim/normal (BMi is in the normal range)

RedRedBluee · 30/12/2018 08:57

Size 8-10 and 9st 7, was still a size 10 at 10st 7, it’s funny how everyone carries their weight differently.

NikiFree · 30/12/2018 08:59

I am 5ft4 9.5 stone and a comfortable 10 in most brands.

Lazybonita · 30/12/2018 09:05

I am 5ft3 and size 8/10 I need to lose around half a stone and tone up. I would love to feel fitter and have a bit more energy too.

Lifeisjustabitshit · 30/12/2018 09:10

5 foot 8 inches, size 14 and weigh 13 stone 9lb. No way I’ll ever be a size 10 unless I become seriously ill - and, if I did it through determined weight loss, I’d look seriously ill. I reckon I might get into a size 12 if I lose another 1 1/2 stone but would need to address my bust size as well!!

shirleyschmidt · 30/12/2018 09:11

5'9. 9st 10lb. Size 12.

Was 9st before baby but I don't seem to be shifting any more and that was probably a bit light for my height anyway. I'd like to be 9.5 stone but cba with the necessary dieting and exercise😁
