Hi everyone, as a company we do not endorse, whatsoever, the actions taken by management of The Dorset yesterday, regarding the sign placed on the door.
We are fully committed to inclusivity and their actions should not reflect any part of us as a company.
I hope you can appreciate we have just come back from our own Christmas holidays to news of this event, and will look to put an official statement out later on today.
We do not run the pub directly as it is a tenanted house. Needless to say we are in touch with the licensees and disciplinary action is being taken against those involved. With kind regards, Harvey's Brewery.

Absolutely- for the vegans that is.

When was the last time you heard of anybody demanding a vegan was sacked from their job or have their livelihood destroyed just because they were vegan? When did anyone attempt to destroy a business just because it was vegan? When was the last time a vegan was doxxed online for being vegan?

Of course you haven’t because it’s never bloody happened. It’s a section of vegans who are the aggressors and oppressive forces in this society - they’re the ones pressing to deny others choice and the ability to live and eat as they see fit.

I see no problem here, he just doesn't want confrontation, let's face it sabs are always spoiling for a fight even when 'off durt' and the hunt are hardly covert, vegans well I can't see any vegan agreeing with the hunt due to their history.

It could be argued that the meat industry and those who fund it are the oppressive forces.

So it goes back to the sign being badly written, he should have made it clear that anyone who has a problem with fox hunting and is prepared to cause trouble would not be welcome in the pub for that day
