To think that this is impossible?

Trying to work from home as having childcare issues. AIBU to think this is impossible? If you manage it how? Tia xx

It depends in how old your kids are and if you can spread your work throughout the day with breaks for the kids... (you still need to feed them and look after them, tend to them, spend time with them). If it's a phone job where you have to concentrate on what you're communicating and a lot of interactivity with your clients or work colleagues, forget it... you attention span will fly out the window as soon and one of your kids starts crying or calls your name.
If you're working with your hands like drawing, crafting, cooking, or other physical work, then I suppose you could combine the both with a bit of organising.
If you're a creative writer , you might be able to do this depending on the needs of the children.
I couldn't possibly do my job from home on a regular basis with a 4 year old who always wants something or needs something or requires attention but it doesn't mean I don't be able to work from home in the future.
