Can anyone who knows LOL dolls help me

My 6 year old is obsessed with LOL dolls and got lots for Christmas. She’s had great fun opening them today but is confused as these two (ones a normal doll and one is a little sister) don’t appear on the enclosed booklet where she ticks off the ones that she’s got. Does anyone recognise them or know why? I’m thinking they are counterfeit ones.

Thanks

Just asked my LOL obsessed DD and she said they are fake. Gutted for you. Where did they come from?

oldsewandsew · 26/12/2018 17:43

Oh, just saw your update! Sorry, x post.

Junglistguy · 26/12/2018 18:46

Just showed my daughter, she has 62 dolls, she said there definitely fake unfortunately, only buy from supermarkets, Smyths, the entertainer or Argos never from e bay

I got caught out once buying from eBay. Only buy from retail stores now. Easily done though, they are hugely expensive for what they are

Why are people giving her a hard time because she didnt ASSUME they were fake??? Market stalls still are monitored by trading standards and a lot of us have faith that not everyone is trying to rob us by peddling counterfeit goods to us!
Its such a shame, especially if its her first ones, poor girl! If you look on you tube it shows u the real vs fake packaging and what to look for when purchasing again 😊 good luck with the stall holder....... try not get too angry and im sure if you make them aware your approaching the local authority and the market team themselves regarding their selling of counterfeit goods that they will be happy to accommodate and return your money

The Underwraps one.

Because there weren’t 15 things inside, only 5, and the doll itself isn’t on the collectors guide and looks very different to their others.

Yep, definitely from ASDA. Usually buy them from The Entertainer.

Soubriquet · 27/12/2018 09:52

The under wraps doesn’t have 15 items with the doll

It does have one in each compartment which you have to de-code to open.

Shoes
Bottle
Outfit
Head item

RolandDeschainsGilly · 27/12/2018 10:24

@soubriquet I’m utterly clueless but DDs were insistent there should be 15 Confused Blush

ChristmasTwatteryDoesMyHeadIn · 27/12/2018 10:25

Roland there’s stickers in between layers that count as an item, and a wee red magnifying glass to decode the hidden codes.

MorningsEleven · 27/12/2018 10:50

I’m shocked that toys like these are faked

I'm not, they're ridiculously expensive. I paid almost a tenner for a tiny skunk with shoes and a bow tie but y'know Christmas, kids etc

XiCi · 27/12/2018 11:07

Were all the little stickers, magnifying glass etc inside Roland? Have you a photo of the doll? I'd be absolutely astounded if ASDA were selling fake lol underwraps

Soubriquet · 27/12/2018 11:30

The stickers and magnifying glass are usually in between layers of wrapping
