AIBU to be upset that no one had rang us to say Merry christmas ? Not even my mum I text everyone first thing and every one had replied but no one has bothered to ring us.... this is the first time we have stayed home and not visited my DM & Dad... really upset over this they haven't even replied to texts of DD opening presents but read them, they will be busy as raising 3 GC, but surely 5 minutes isn't going to kill them...

SERIOUSLY???? GET A GRIP. THERE ARE PEOPLE ALL OVER SAT ON THEIR OWN WITH NO ONE TO TALK TO ALL DAY AND YOU ARE WHINING BOUT THIS. DONT USUALLY GET SO PISSED OFF BUT THIS HAS DONE IT.

It's not the texting, its not the phoning....it's the freaking expectation of facetime

KirstyAllsoppsFatterTwin · 25/12/2018 16:54

So, you texted them to say Happy Christmas, they replied, but you are annoyed they haven’t phoned? And now you are texting again to arrange a FaceTime chat but you are annoyed they haven’t yet looked at this texts. Is this right?

If you want to speak to them why don’t YOU just phone them? 🤔

MattBerrysHair · 25/12/2018 17:04

^what they all said^

Why do you need to text, ring and facetime people you will see tomorrow? Are you sad that you're not there and afraid that you're missing out on all the fun?

You have made contact with them today already and will enjoy their company tomorrow. Accept this and make the most of your day without pining for you family's attention. If you want to speak to them agaib just ring. They're not psychic.
