AIBU to secretly cringe when I read posts like this from my friend on social media?! And then to press like, when I'm really thinking "I can't wait for you to get married already so I won't have to listen to anything about your wedding anymore!"

I have a fb friend that did a 'last Christmas as a miss' post. But this is her second wedding. So was literally a Mrs two Christmases ago ...

But you’re not ‘secretly cringing’ are you? You’re on a public forum, whose users may do the same thing that you’re ripping the piss out of. Does it matter you don’t know them personally? Drawing attention to yourself at others expense. Bet you wouldn’t do it in real life.

I imagine the OP is referring to the posts of her FB friends... So she is "secretly cringing".

Some of mine has the "last Christmas as Miss Xxxx" jumpers.

One is quite normal about discussing g it and 1 discusses everything and posts frequent FB statuses. Except she's an amazing character and someone who is just generally very chatty and open about her life - not show offy - she's just very enthusiastic by nature .

Doesn't bother me. I have the option of not reading it!

Ugh, hate those statuses too. One because it’s insufferably smug and two because I’m screaming inside “why are you defining yourself by your marital status in 2018???”

And yes it doesn’t end. I have a friend who constantly posts (probably once a year on their anniversary, but it feels more frequently) throwback photos to their wedding. Each year a different candid “never before seen” shot and an insufferable #.
