AIBU to secretly cringe when I read posts like this from my friend on social media?! And then to press like, when I'm really thinking "I can't wait for you to get married already so I won't have to listen to anything about your wedding anymore!"

Given how many couples divorce I think she's counting her chickens tbh

But I think DH's cousin is worse. She's pregnant and has put "our last Christmas as a family of four". Pregnant with first child - the 4 are her, her DH and their two dogs. She's even followed the post with 👩🏼👨🏻🐶🐶 to make it clear, almost as if she knows people will be wondering WTF she's going on about

Oh God are we friends with the same person? I saw this yesterday and thought Really?! This is an intelligent independent professional woman who's been living with her boyfriend for five years.

I geniunely am happy for her, and I do feel bad for privately thinking the way I do, but I'm just not interested in weddings at all and am looking forward to the day itself being over so we can talk about other things, selfish I know

I have so far refrained from posting anything about this being my first Christmas as a mum.

Took a photo of the 3 of us but we look awful (unsurprisingly with a newborn) so that’s not being shared publicly 😂

YANBU it's very annoying. I have a friend who posts on all her friends pages on their birthday a picture of them with her in her wedding dress at her wedding which makes me laugh.

I haven't seen 'she said YES!' This year yet!

I like seeing all those kinda posts, all the baby elf pictures today have been so cute, and one of my work colleagues announced her pregnancy and I'm made up for her. I'm just tired of hearing about this long awaited overhyped wedding. Also the emphasis on "Miss" and "Mrs" does make me cringe .
