Morrisons excelled themselves in shitness.

Normal mince pies for gluten free.

Polar bear iced cake instead of Christmas pud.

A fucking chocolate yule log instead of a HAM fgs.

Anyone top that?

Flea collar instead of cat food

ExFury · 25/12/2018 02:50

I got dog food instead of cat food

RustyShackleford · 25/12/2018 03:50

I'm calling the condoms instead of nappies as complete bullshit.

Rubberduckies · 25/12/2018 07:50

I have to say that since I changed to Ocado I very rarely get any substitutions, and if I do they are always very sensible! I had one bottle of grape juice subbed in the Christmas shop....for a different bottle of grape juice.

Once with Asda the whole shop was wrong but mine had already been delivered to someone. he said he would give the other person's to me so I had some food and it could be sorted out the following day. It was like a weird episode of ready steady cook trying to make something edible with the frankly bizarre ingredients!

Went to Tesco yesterday and they had run out of mince pies [shock

Sorry bit off topic Xmas Blush

Sparklingbrook · 25/12/2018 08:44

I would fully expect a supermarket to have run out of some Christmassy staples by Christmas Eve TBF.

I got scotch eggs instead of eggs.
Pancake mix instead of Yorkshire puddings
Mixed veg instead of peas. The list goes on

My delivery driver once told me that when it was a pickers last day they decided to do some stupid substitution for 200 cigs but I can't remember what he said, so it definitely does happen that pickers can get uppity or silly sometimes, but it's a bit rotten at christmas when people are relying on their stuff
