AIBU to love my MIL

I've always been close to my Mil, we love close to her and she's always been there without being interfering, she's happy to have my dc and has a fantastic relationship with them.
I recently lost my own mum and she's been so supportive, not wanting to step on toes but being there to help out and thinking of my dad this time of year.
She helps positively with raising my sons and did such a good job with her son, my husband, I'm happy to listen to what she says
At this time of year I wanted to share the love for the good in laws

I also love my MIL and quite often feel shocked when I see the MIL hating threads on here! My MIL is such a genuinely lovely woman and so much fun to be around. We’re not seeing the in laws until the 29th this year due to husband and sibling’s work schedules so are seeing my family on Christmas Day, but I’m really looking forward to spending time with them all.

YANBU

I also love my MIL. She’s a wonderful woman who I admire hugely and get along with so well. I do things regularly with her and my own DM too; I know I’m very lucky!

I have no relationship with my MIL. I would love to have one of the ones on here so much. One of my biggest goals is to be a fantastic MIL myself when my ds are older!

Not at all. Mine is lovely.

My MIL is fabulous- she really is one of the most genuinely lovely people you could ever meet. She keeps our DS for us one day a week and is forever coming round with clothes/toys for him, clothes/food for us and makes fudge for our workmates!

Mine is fabulous too.

I had a lovely mil, unfortunately she passed away just before her first grandchild was born.

I loved my MIL too - counted myself so lucky not to have got one of these famous dragon MILs! Sadly we lost her a month or so ago and this Christmas is going to be very hard :(
