To ask what your sleep schedule is?

I have a horrible sleep schedule and I have no idea anymore what a 'normal' time is to wake up. For me 10am is early :/

So when do you go to sleep and wake up if you're not going to work?

@hazell42 shit I've tried this but when it comes to my allocated time to wake up... I just don't.
I can't force myself to get out of bed it's SO DAMN HARD

I usually try to be in bed by 11, asleep by 11.30pm.
Kids wake between 6.30-7am, my alarm goes off at 6.45am and I'm out of bed by 7.

One night a week I stay up til midnight and lie in til 9.30am, the luxury!

DonnaDarko · 17/12/2018 19:39

Bed at 10pm, up anytime between 5:30-6:30 (have a toddler and we all have to leave the house by half 7). Would love to go to bed at 9pm when DS does, but I can't (DP and I sleep in the living room, long story)

Judeeee · 17/12/2018 19:44

Bed around 1030-1100, nod off around 1115, up at 0545-0600 to let dog out. If not working or a weekend I go back to bed for a couple of hours. Seems to work fine and often I feel less tired if I get up early.

hazell42 · 17/12/2018 19:48

But you haven't tried it. It will he hard for 3 ot 4 days. Max. How long have you been suffering? Force yourself for 1 week. Then sleep easy.

hazell42 · 17/12/2018 19:51

When your alarm goes off. Get up. Straight away. Dont give yourself time to think about it. Get up
And get in the shower.
If you keep hitting snooze you give yourself time to change your mind. It has to be worth being hard on yourself to sort this problem out once and for all.
Or do you just like using it as an excuse?

BitchQueen90 · 17/12/2018 19:56

I go to bed any time between 9pm and 11pm depending on how tired I am. Up at 6am on weekdays. Up any time between 6am-7.30am on weekends. I don't enjoy late nights and lie ins, I'm an early bird.

The only time I ever sleep past 8am is if I've got a hangover. Grin

Erratic. I load up on over-the-counter and herbal sleep remedies in order to get six hours of sleep. I am a chronic insomniac, and decided two years ago that sleeping pills plus okay sleep is better than no pills and no sleep. Sometimes I only get four, and then I’ll sleep nine hours at other times.

Oysterbabe · 17/12/2018 20:11

I doze off on the sofa at about 9, go up to bed at about 11, get up with the baby at about 6:30. I'm amazing at sleeping, I can fall asleep in under a minute pretty much every single night.

MaryShelley1818 · 17/12/2018 20:15

I go to bed with baby DS at 7.30-8pm. Usually asleep by 9ish then awake from about 4.30am. DS sleeps until about 7.30am though!

MrsStrowman · 17/12/2018 20:19

Sleep schedule 😂😂😂 I have a two week old...

DowntonCrabby · 17/12/2018 20:33

18 days a month, at home I’m in bed by 10 and asleep by 11:30/12. Half the time awake at 7:30ish and half the time can sleep until 9 or even later.

8 days a month, I sleep at work in a single bed, I have a 6-8 hours of quite broken sleep and have to be up and on the go alert at 7am.
The rest of the month- work or home- I’m either premenstrual or on the first few days of my period and I either toss and turn literally all night or sleep like the dead.

Eifla · 17/12/2018 20:37

Week days, it’s usually 11/11.30pm - 6.45am.

Weekends normally an hour or two later to bed and up around 9am.
