To ask if you hate bras as much as me??

I’ve gained weight over the last few years (4 stone, cheers citalopram) and I literally can’t find a bra that doesn’t dig in. The ones fitted in 2 separate places are even worse. It’s the underwire.

Think I may have to resort to one of those stretchy ones. Any recommendations?

I hate bras. If i have to wear one, it comes off the second I get in! I love wearing those crop top ones you get from JML instead!

Thank you christmas wrapping according to boon or bust im a g but I’ve been wearing D or DD for years.

I’m feeling inspired!

Bravissimo have ones called Freya fancies which look very pretty but I fear may not provide enough (if any) lift. (I’d like enough lift to ensure nipples don’t point directly South)

Bras are so uncomfortable! During the day I wear M & S underwired t-shirt bras, at night sloggi bra tops. As soon I have finished going 'out' in the day, shower and put on Sloggi and pyjamas, sooooo comfy.

For me, the best part of the day is getting home and taking the bra off!!! On weekends I wear the pullover genie bras - much more comfy!

Do any bralettes exist that aren't a gazillion pounds to fit a G - H cup?

cavycavy · 16/12/2018 20:24

Apparently those Freya ones go up to a g

Hmmm, I've tried Freya bras before and found they came up small, so I'm not sure my H's can be squished into something of theirs.

I wish those nice comfy pull on bras came in bigger sizes, "XL" is no good at all. Sad My chest measurement is only 34" but the breast part of me is bloody ridiculous. I bought some sleep bras from Evans (EVANS!) once, and the band just rolls up under my boobs and the whole thing is pulled hopelessly out of shape by my stupid knockers. So annoying.

My stepsister had giant breasts, for her 40th birthday she treated herself to a reduction. She looks so teeny and petite without them and wears all the lovely clothes she couldn't before.

When when when will someone invent an alternative? All this technology and fuck all in the bra dept.

We will have the science for manipulating genes to make breasts smaller before we get comfortable bras for everyone, probably.

I’m a D cup, in my (later) 30’s and never wear a bra unless I’m exercising. Much more comfortable and free. You get the odd ‘look’ now and again, but one of the joys of getting older is not caring what people think.
Regularly go knickerless also, unless I’m wearing tights or jeans. It’s so much more comfortable and free-feeling.

I am so uncomfortable without a bra, the jiggling while walking hurts, running would be impossibly painful. For me it's essential support, not a social construct and I've never understood how bra burning was supposed to symbolise freedom, as it would practically prevent me from moving.

I don't wear underwires, sports bra all the way as they're comfy, as well as keeping everything properly in place which frilly bits of fluff never do.

MinisterforCheekyFuckery · 16/12/2018 21:27

I fucking hate bras.

I only ever wear them for work. I can't stand anything with under-wire so I go for the non-wired bralette type and the second I get in from work off it comes. I'm on Maternity leave so literally haven't worn a bra for months, it's been glorious!
