No no, much better to wait until the end of March for it all to go tits up and then swoop into power in a win-win situation - if it goes wrong it's not your fault and if it goes well you take all the credit. It happens in football all the time.

The Tories voted for a leader two years ago. If they are now allowed to change their minds, having discovered that the outcome is not to their liking, then they should afford the same opportunity to the public.

But nobody in parliament cares what the public wants. Isn't that obvious? They only care about themselves.

Which about sums him up. A hard Brexit suits Corbyn's politics but he hasn't got the guts to say so.

If Labour sorted themselves out, got rid of Corbyn and the ridiculous shower of Momentum bros, and got someone in who wasnt a complete joke, then we might have a way out.

The trouble is there are a lot of people who want the job, but not yet. Meaning someone like David Davies (yes I think dead ringers too) could end up as an interim while the others wait for their moment.

On a really trivial note, Nick Robinson tweeted about Boris' leadership-candidate haircut at the weekend. i noticed this morning Amber Rudd had had her highlights done. Are there any more hairdos we should be tracking?
