OP seek medical advice my son almost died from an asthma attack. He'd had no asthma throughout his childhood and teens and mid twenties he'd get the occasional tight chest. Without warning he had a huge asthma attack in the middle of the night and was blue lighted to hospital on the verge of respiratory arrest. Since then he's had repeated courses of steroids and preventative medicines that he takes every day. Something has changed if you have had three asthma attacks in a week, your next one could kill you so phone 111 and get medical assistance.
