I'm setting up as a freelance domestic cleaner/housekeeper.

Please can you help me think of name for my cleaning/housekeeping business please?

I don't want to use my own name/surname.
I don't want anything that sounds too gimmicky or daft.
I will be working for clients in a rather affluent 'naice' like to beat the Jones's area so I'd like a name that sounds 'naice' too. I don't want my clients to feel embarrassed to recommend my business name or to have my car displaying my business name sat outside their house Grin

Please help me come up with something original MNers!

Whatever you do end up calling it please spell it properly!

Bloody hate seeing crap names like kidz klubz.

Celestia26 · 10/12/2018 20:11

I like a PP suggestion of Broom and Co. I think it sounds cool and upmarket.

Angie169 · 10/12/2018 21:25

I love shitbegone or Polish it behind the door, ( said out loud sounds like ' polly shit behind the door' ) but perhaps not quite the image you want to portray.

Broom&Co is a good one too.
how about
DustBusters
Vac away
I agree with PP having the location / town name would make it easier to search for , also you need something that makes it clear that you are cleaners , and as PP has said please for the love of god spell it right , i HATE intentional mis-spelt names,

TheDownsideUp · 10/12/2018 21:54

KKK.... Hilarious, but like Sexnotgender and Angie169 I can't cope with the intentional misspelling

I do like Brooms (can't be Brooms & Co. really, as I'll be a one-woman-band for the time-being)

Also really like Marigolds Regency and Swept Away

I can't use the place name Cleaning as it's already taken. Plus I'm hoping to branch out to other area's eventually

I have come up with these too. Tell me what you think:

Céleste Domestic Cleaning (French for ‘Heavenly’)
Dream Clean
Supreme Clean
Serene Clean
Hygiea Domestic Cleaning (Greek goddess of cleanliness, health and sanitation)
Vesta Domestic Cleaning (Roman Goddess of the home)
Centrice Cleaning (an Old English word for ‘Kent’ - the county I'm in)
Cavalry Cleaning
Hamlet Housekeeping
Honeysuckle Housekeeping
Heritage Housekeeping (the area is connected to a lot of history)
Calibre Cleaning
Imperial Housekeeping
Sovereign Housekeeping

If you’re going to have a website the challenge can be finding an available URL for it that matches your name so do bear that in mind. I agree with a PP that the name and location need to be easy to find on google if you need to promote yourself.

BlancheM · 10/12/2018 22:34

Céleste isn't French for heavenly.
I do like an alliteration so I like Heritage housekeeping.
Going along the lines of your last few ideas, Elite housekeeping?

TheDownsideUp · 10/12/2018 22:38

Céleste isn't French for heavenly.
Fucking Google translate! Thanks for letting me know
