Is it to late to complain

Decide to have my make up and hair done for my works Christmas party as I’m crap at any of it. Had a look on Instagram at recommendations for make up artists and two canceled so messaged this salon with the look I wanted to see if they could do it. Arrived at 4.15 to the salon didn’t leave till 5.45. I asked for this look with shimmer eyelid and eyeliner see pic below she insisted that we might not need eyeliner as eye shadow would bee over powering with eyeliner too aka she can’t do eyeliner. She then got to work with all her tools that looked like her own and where full of make up. Throughout the make over she wouldn’t let me look in the mirror and kept saying it will look good in the end. She decided to a halo eye pic bellow with gold glitter pic I sent her clearly is a pinky gold shimmer not gold glitter. She puts glue on my eyelid and sticks this glitter to it in the middle of my eyelid and couldn’t blend it out so I had brown part eye solid gold and then brown again with no blend at all. I insisted that I would do my own eyebrows and lipstick ext as I just wanted to leave ended up doing my make up in the lift on the way there as when I got home the hair lady had turned up. Need to complain but I’m to scared I hate complaining this happened last night I’m terrible with words to so dyslexic what do I say cost me 15 for a horrible look

I'm afraid the time to complain was after it was done. If you had an issue with the condition of her brushes you should have said somethibg there and then. No way would I let anyone put manky sponges and brushes near my face.

Did you wear the look on your night out?

If you have no photos of your own make up then no; there's no point complaining (you can't prove how different it was from what you wanted) and she's very unlikely to take advice from you. You'd be wasting your time even if it was with good intentions.

I'd definitely have queried the state of her equipment before she touched me, though. Caked on make up and foundation is not at all hygienic; especially if it's being used across multiple people.

Just chalk it up to experience and vote with your feet.

In answer to your op - yes it is too late to complain
