I don't like the dress either, it's too orange and it's rather frumpy in length and design.

However it's an absolute no for the tan ankle boots and black tights, it would look all wrong.

I wouldn't ever wear black tights and tan boots myself. The dress is quite nice imo.

You could wear boots but it would have to be a heeled (not flat), knee high (or there abouts) black boot.
