I'm on mat leave and DS is cluster feeding all night. I'm going insane and have exhausted all of my Spotify playlists.

I need a binge watch-able tv series!

Loved:

  • Breaking Bad
  • The Street
  • Staircase
  • Evil Genius
  • Empire

But am open to all suggestions!

My 7 week old is a very demanding little thing!

Some great suggestions here, taking notes.

@mrsjohnmurphy I think the TV show you might be talking about was called an Israeli show called False Flag. It was quite good.

Eeyoreismyspiritguide · 07/12/2018 22:43

The West Wing (watch this at least once a year - the writing and acting make it by far my favorite ever tv series)

Others I like are,
Glitch
The Dark
Greys anatomy
Breaking Bad
The Sinner

I am currently invalided so invested in buying all six series Spiral on Prime and rewatching. I love The Bridge, The Killing etc. but it reminded me Spiral is my absolute favourite from the BBC 4 sat night slot. Only about £8 a series and as wine is out for a while I feel no guilt about buying outside my subscription!

We don't binge watch on-line stuff, we can't use smart TV facilities but I've been known to watch The West Wing all day when I'm ill. I also watched the first Series of House in one go almost because I hadn't seen it, expecting it to be Kirsty and Phil!

Igottastartthinkingbee · 07/12/2018 22:50

House of cards
Narcos
Killing Eve

I can't believe it's only been mentioned 4 times, (and one of those had given up on it) but Outlander is just devine.
Be warned though, it's a rabbit hole that's very hard to escape from once your in it!

Notevenmyrealname · 08/12/2018 01:37

I’ve just seen a few suggestions that I’d agree with.
GLOW
Lucifer (although I started to get irritated with it during the 3rd series)
Glitch
Also not seen it mentioned as skimmed through some of the posts but The Santa Clarita Diet is very funny
Netflix also has some British classics like Blackadder, Peep Show, The Office.

crumpet · 08/12/2018 01:39

Outlander
Killing Eve
The Americans

crumpet · 08/12/2018 01:41

Agree bibblibs - outlander seems to be underrated but it has such a rich depth underpinning the storyline, which makes it pretty unique

PointlessPigeon · 08/12/2018 01:47

Outnumbered, I know loads.of people hate it though

SpareASquare · 08/12/2018 02:14

@SecretLimonade I use a VPN to access US content. TBH I’m not exactly sure how it works, my ‘techy’ DS looks after it.

PawPawNoodle · 08/12/2018 02:19

I just hinged The Good Place on Netflix - funny, well written and tingles my philosophical/moral intrigue!

LadyB49 · 08/12/2018 02:29

24
Dh and I watched up to 4 episodes at a time.

Chocaholicjellybelly · 08/12/2018 04:05

I binged watched Orange Is the new black while I was signed off after my hysterectomy. Another series I have enjoyed binge watching was Outlander.

Matildatoldsuchdreadfullies · 08/12/2018 04:09

Haven't seen this mentioned yet - 12 Monkeys. I loved it.

But then I also loved Zoo, Revolution and Prison Break. Which are all, objectively, fairly rubbish - but make for fabulous binging.

Izzy24 · 08/12/2018 04:21

No-one liked No Offence?

DistanceCall · 08/12/2018 07:58

Recent binge-watches:

Suits
The Good Fight (1 and 2)
Ripper Street
The Living and the Dead

And Cocaine Coast, an excellent Spanish series on Netflix about drug smuggling in Galicia - the Spanish version of Narcos!
