Soup with crackers?

I'm on t the only one who thinks this is completely bonkers right?
Why do people do this? Surely bread would be better dipped tolo lock in flavour?

Well, crackers were invented when someone was trying to create a recipe that would last well on sea voyages. I'd imagine that they were eaten with pretty much any main meal from the off.

Soup in the USA is often served eith a little pack of salty crackers. They are delicious. It like cream crackers. More like a tuck if you remember them.

I do this but usually it's because I've run out of bread.

I'm eating this right now! Well, water biscuits with Baxter's tomato cos bread is very filling & Heinz gives me the worst heartburn.

As long as there buttered or Melted Cheese on crackers dunked in soup is good
