I'm on t the only one who thinks this is completely bonkers right?
Why do people do this? Surely bread would be better dipped tolo lock in flavour?

Well, crackers were invented when someone was trying to create a recipe that would last well on sea voyages. I'd imagine that they were eaten with pretty much any main meal from the off.

Soup in the USA is often served eith a little pack of salty crackers. They are delicious. It like cream crackers. More like a tuck if you remember them.
