I saw her MM the other night. Yep she isn't a great singer but never has been, she was really good fun though and so lovely to the karaoke crew. Thought she was fab.

Rod Stewart really needs to retire. Who buys those dreadful swing records he makes?

Kylie is a great performer. Her music isn’t my bag, but she’s fun to watch. She looked incredible in that star dress!

Who are we to say who should retire and who should keep going? I hope you never come across ageism in your work place.

There’s not many singers these days that can sing well live. I don’t think she’s brilliant but she’s ok, I still think she’s fab tho

Funnily enough, Dannii is a better singer but just wasn't as lucky (pardon the pun)

She’s an awful singer - Kylie only really became famous because of Neighbours I think. She looks good for her age though.

I went to the Showgirl tour and have never been so bored in my entire life! I was prepared for the singing to be in the 'not great' realm but she kept nipping off for endless costume changes, every time the crowd got anywhere near to going off she went to change and we were treated to a dance routine by the back-ups. That said, I have loads of time for her as a person, think she's able to laugh at herself and think she's done amazingly well to have such a long-lasting career. She's clearly a grafter.

I blame kylie for the current trend for female singers to sing in a breathy little girl lispy voice. She has openly admitted to cultivating that style. I loathe if.

Other than that she seems like a nice woman and looks fabulous! I rather admire people like her who make the very best of what talent they've got.

Quite, practice. More power to those like Kylie who have to graft for it..She's made an amazingly successful career from little. Good luck to her.

She’s not an amazing singer but she’s not awful and as pp have said it doesn’t really matter as she can put on a show. I’m a better singer than her (I’m not saying I’m Celine Dion, but I am a better singer than Kylie) but she’s an international popstar with a career spanning 30 odd years and I didn’t even get past the producers stage of X Factor so singing isn’t everything when wien it’s your actual job.

Yes but I find that with a lot of the successful singers.

Madonna hasn't got a great voice, Rihanna sounds constipated, Beyonce is a screeching banshee, the list can go on...

Mariah can sing but goes over the top at times...
