To think I'm the only person who can't wear secret socks

Just this. I see friends and colleagues put them on and slip their shoes on, no issues. I put them on and they've slipped off by the time I've got my heel done!

Is there a secret that I don't know about, or am I just really bad at socks?

What are we talking about??? Can someone post a screenshot of secret socks?

Trainer socks aren't secret- they show in any trainer I wear

The ones like tights - they look bloody daft in ballet shoes as you have half a foot of tights material showing

I can wear them but they get so stinky because they're polyester so I don't anymore.

I thought I was the only one! They never stay on and are just plain annoying. Agree Primark ones with the gel pad thing do work.

BUT THEN they're so tiny they're always getting lost in the laundry and in my sock drawer and now I don't bother wasting money on them.

They used to be called foot-socks or footsies, -- basically socks that don't show at all above the shoe, even a court or ballerina type.

They are quite low-cut but don"t actually stay on the foot that well. I have made a note of the recommendations on here!
I bought some with a padded sole in Japan. They were a/expensive , b/ still slipped down and c/ really uncomfortable.

But they do show... I either have not ever encountered what is talked about or you have all got different feet to me! My feet look normal though

I have bought footsies... mine might just have identified as footsies though and not been truthful

Mumsnet is changing my life atm - first I discover Skechers instead of uggs... now I might find real invisible socks!!!! Excellent 😁

They feel too weird IMO!
