Mine has been lovely, long but lovely.

Woke up at 6, slumbered in bed til 7 on my phone then up for a large mug of tea and a relax with TV Christmas movie. Then me and DD pottered about until 10, we got into warm clothes and went for a long walk and into a local area attraction where we wandered through the Christmas style market that was on. Bought some sweeties for this evening and headed home, we've spent the last hour or so warming up under a throw and later we're going to have bubble baths before we watch another movie with our market treats and maybe order a pizza.

I love relaxed Saturdays, next weekend will be so so busy I'm definitely not doing too much this one.

*What are you upto?
*
Hope it's a good one no matter what xx

ChiaraRimini · 24/11/2018 17:35

Woken up at 430am by drunken teenagers crashing about. Went back to sleep.
Got up about 9, snoring teenagers friends on sofas/mattresses etc around house. Started housework then got phone by hairdresser as I had forgotten my appt! Raced over there. Then took DD to school Xmas fair. Just been wrapping present for a bday party tmrw and sewing on brownie badges. Going to make lasagne for tea in a minute then relax with a glass of wine and some crap telly.

@MustardPowder

I hope you realise that a bird having a poop on you is a sign of impending good luck.

Buy a lotto ticket NOW!

missionofmercy · 24/11/2018 17:37

Mehmeh.

Thanks so much. Good for me to let it out, and sometimes a laugh is better than a cry.

ginghambox · 24/11/2018 17:38

Just back from the football, smashed our local rivals 4-1.Off out for a few drinks later and "may" take the piss out of friends who support the inferior team.

Oddsocksandmeatballs · 24/11/2018 17:38

Not great.

My daughter had a severe asthma attack yesterday and was in A&E from 2pm - 11pm after being blue lighted in. She is allergic to Christmas trees so things will only get worse now. I spent most of the night waiting for news and woke with a migraine so took meds but having to go to work didn't really help. I am hoping for a more peaceful day tomorrow.

TheWickedWitchofWestYorkshire · 24/11/2018 17:39

Thank you mumof2sarah. 2.5 hours until bedtime... I'ver just ordered a domino's fo arrive just as the eldest had gone to bed!

Sorry about your mum missionofmercy. I hope they can find out why she's having repeated strokes.

Congratulations on your new baby Eminybob.

Billythecat · 24/11/2018 17:42

Had a lazy morning with my fiancé, then had a wedding dress fitting and meeting with the florist which was exciting! Now watching football in my pjs :) nice day.

Oldraver · 24/11/2018 17:45

Cat woke me at 6.30am after having a 'convo' with OH which went ..

Cat, mrrrr, meaow
OH mmmmm for several minutes

I got up and let cat out in the end and dozed until 9ish when OH got up and made me coffee.

We've just pottered being domestic, done some shopping and OH is now doing dinner

JemSynergy · 24/11/2018 17:47

I've had a lazy day binge watching The Walking Dead. I've had a terrible migraine all day. Will be ordering a curry tonight.

Justabadwife · 24/11/2018 17:49

Me and dd went and bought new Xmas decorations this morning, everything we need for a girly tree.
I left dd at home with DH and went shopping with DM.
We trailed and bought bits, did the food shop and i got something to wear for both my Xmas parties.
Came home, put the shopping away, cleaned the kitchen while DH did the living room and dd did her homework.
Played speak out with dd.
Just about to make myself crumpets as I'm not really hungry, DH is going to sort himself and dd out.
Probably watch a film or something later.

catography · 24/11/2018 17:50

Big, big clean this morning (I mean cleaning the grout on our bathroom floor big...). So satisfying.

Watched the rugger/snoozed with the cats, whilst doing some wedding (read: honeymoon) planning and now there's a katsu curry on, DP is at the gym.

We're off to the cinema tonight...to watch separate films...our cinema let's you take flod and booze in so I'm going to make an Irish coffee to take with me to wash my mealteasers down with GrinWineHalo

ButtMuncher · 24/11/2018 17:50

We've had a reasonably lazy day. I was up with the toddler around half 6 and he's proceeded to whine or cry all day off and on, firmly in the terrible twos. DH took the boys out for lunch whilst I napped off a mild hangover and were counting down the hours till the kids go to bed so we can laze on the sofa and have a quick shag (been ages, both been ridiculously busy with work). Going to watch Strictly and heat up campfire stew so quick and easy food.

dingdang · 24/11/2018 17:54

Woke with DD at 7 and had a lazy hour or so watching cartoons in bed. Then played Lego, puzzles and other stuff till we got dressed and went out for lunch. Ended up being too late for the Christmas fair at local church so decided to buy a gold Christmas tree and some new decorations which we will put up next weekend. She's gone off with her dad now for the rest of the weekend and I'm trying to decide if I can be bothered to go out for a drink or if it's pjs and a glass of wine for me...

CorianderDestroysFamilies · 24/11/2018 17:57

Woke up too early after another rubbish night of sleep, went out for the day with DC and DH but didn’t feel present at all as I’m pretty sure my marriage is falling apart. Waiting for the DC to eat and go to bed so I can do some work and cry. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

SeaViewBliss · 24/11/2018 17:58

I am having a lovely day. DD was 21 yesterday but lives away. It is the first time we haven’t had her at home on her Birthday. She came home this morning and we had the GPs round for lunch. We have been reminiscing, looking at her baby photos.

We are getting a takeaway later and playing some games. She is still slightly delicate from her Birthday night out so happy to be cosied up at home.

I love having her home for a few days 😊

Cheekylittlenumber · 24/11/2018 17:58

Its only 1pm here, I’m in Florida on holiday- leaving today Sad

Had an amazing time but exhausted. Drove to see Elton John play in Fort Laurderdale last night and got home at 3am local time- then up again at 7 with the kids and went out for pancakes but time slipped away and we got back to the villa to squeeze three hours of packing in about half an hour Grin

Bloody boiler packed up while we were away, luckily neighbours discovered the leak so have turned it off. Trying to get a plumber to come Monday to check it out. It was a bit stressful but couldn’t put a dampener on the holiday Smile

chickenloverwoman · 24/11/2018 19:11

Got up at 7 to get DD up for her Saturday job. Listened to DD , who has ASD and other stuff, lecture me for 30 mins about all sorts of random stuff, as usual. DH took DD to job. I did feeding animal stuff while he was gone. DH came back, made tea and we went back to bed until noon, to just catch up on sleep, sadly. Had shower, did housework, watched F1, enjoyed the respite from DD stuff, which is relentless if she's home all day with us.
Collected DD from job, now eyeing up wine, but dare not have any in case DD kicks off due to her tiredness and overwhelm.

Iamtheoneandonly2018 · 24/11/2018 19:38

Woke up at 9 to a pile of feathers in the garden.
Sparrowhawk had killed a dove and was tucking into it.
DB, DSIL and DM visited and took us for lunch. We"ve had a bad year, DSIL had cancer and DDad died almost a year ago so nice to get together.
Been on the sofa watching Spurs win and drinking tea. Early night for me.

Dorabean · 24/11/2018 20:07

Up at 7.30 with DS (4 months). He's had a few rough nights recently but he slept well last night with only one wake up. DP went to get his hair cut so DS and I pottered around doing jobs. Tidied the house, visited DP's parents and then went to look at a potential wedding venue. DS fast asleep in bed by 7pm so Chinese and wine/beer for myself and DP!

starlight45 · 24/11/2018 20:13

I think Miss Marple has family money. I like to think she was a much loved only girl and her brother died in some war.
My Saturday has been stressful and crappy after a crappy week. But I had to add the miss marple back story.

WeirdHandDryers · 24/11/2018 20:18

I went out of the house. This is a massive achievement for me as I’m battling BiPolar. After leaving the house I wrapped the Christmas presents I bought. Doesn’t sound like a lot but for me it’s a massive achievement. Today, was a good day.
