What was the worst school report you ever got?

I was 10, in the last year at primary school. I knew my (male) teacher didn't like me very much. In the section about general attitude he wrote "kennelmaid is often sullen and can be a nuisance. She will find it very difficult to get on well in secondary school."

I was the archetypal ‘good girl’ in school, so never really had a ‘bad’ report. However, my Year 7 Science teacher lived to regret saying ‘Alli needs to speak up in class’...I didn’t shut up for the next 4 years!
I also remember a rather sarcastic comment from my geography teacher along the lines of ‘Is art your strong point, Alli?!’. My map drawing wasn’t great, evidently.

I had been struggling with O grade chemistry. Worked my arse off for the mock exam.

Scored 76%. 77% would have been a 1 pass.

School report said "this mark is a disgrace".

Liz joins in enthusiastically with singing practice, if not rhymically or in tone.

thepoorestoftherichteabiscuits - I love your maths story! I remember a similar task from early primary school where we were given an inordinately long amount of time to list all the words we could think of that ended with '-at'. I was annoyed that my teacher wouldn't add my contributions, including 'aristocrat' and 'diplomat' to the shared class list, just the obvious cat bat sat stuff. Grin

My school report from when I was 5 called me an anxious perfectionist. Still true.

I didn't go to secondary school very often but was bright and studied at home so got extremely good marks anyway. I had one report where the headteacher had to write a comment in - mine was a generic positive comment followed by, in another colour, 'HOW EVER, ATTENDANCE???' (sic). I figured that if my attendance was that low but I was still in the top 5 in the year group I was doing just fine.

For PE I once managed to get E for attainment ( the lowest) and 1 (the highest) for effort. The teacher had commented “wax lacks confidence in this subject” . I wonder why? Luckily I didn’t have her as a PE teacher again and magically became “ at least “average” at PE thereafter.

Pe...year 10 I think: I cannot comment on this pupil as they haven't been to my lessons.
(I didn't like pe ... Lol)

'Far too easily satisfied with her work.'

From a total pervert Science teacher who used to sit on the back of the girls' stools so his bum was pressed against ours. I used to stand up and refuse to sit down until he moved. Twat.

I remember getting a Biology test result of 10/10 with the remark ‘Quite good’ from the teacher. I wondered how many out of ten was needed for a ‘Very good’.
