I have been a sahp for years now, my self confidence was at zero, but we need the money and I knew it was time I got a job. I have been on a training course to update my knowledge and have applied for about thirty jobs with no luck. Anyway, I had an interview this afternoon, and they called just an hour later to say I got the job! I am ridiculously excited [grin] and can't wait to get started. I will be a support worker for adults with disabilities and/or MH issues, and will be actually making a difference to people's lives! Shamelessly bragging here [blush] but after almost 20 years of not working, and being rejected by McDonalds [hmm] among other places, I am buzzing [grin]
