If your H (not mine) had a drunken snog and a bit of a grope with a female family member, and you forgave him, would you forgive her too?

Sister or mum? Run a fucking mile.

zighazigha · 20/11/2018 18:53

Christ almighty I would never forgive that

Shirleyphallus · 20/11/2018 18:53

If my DH snogged his sister, mother or grandma I’d have far greater issues than deciding whether or not to forgive her....

Sirzy · 20/11/2018 18:53

It takes two to tango!

Blanchedupetitpois · 20/11/2018 18:54

I assume you mean your family member, not his?

I would struggle to forgive either - it’s cheating and / or betrayal, and much worse for being family. But only you know what you can overcome and live with

PositiveVibez · 20/11/2018 18:54

I jest.

Not sure I would forgive either tbh, but if it was my sister, I'd be likely to forgive her before him.

Carpetglasssofa · 20/11/2018 18:54

Wut

VanessaShanessaJenkins · 20/11/2018 18:54

Wtf?????

In answer to the last bit- anything you forgive him for you should forgive her for surely? They both participated

Wolfiefan · 20/11/2018 18:54

Who did you snog then?Hmm

AGHHHH · 20/11/2018 18:55

They would be equally responsible!! Not one or the other!

naicepineapple · 20/11/2018 18:55

I take it you don't mean his family member?
No, I wouldn't forgive it.

Mountainsided · 20/11/2018 18:56

Wrong on every count, let alone be has cheated

TweedAddict · 20/11/2018 18:56

Is it auntie/uncle? More information is needed

JustAskiing · 20/11/2018 18:56

Sorry, she's married to his cousin, not blood related. Friend has forgiven her husband, but refuses full stop to even mention his cousin's name, only to slag her off.

Didntwanttochangemyname · 20/11/2018 18:56

Nope, wouldn't forgive either of them, game over.

olivesarelife · 20/11/2018 18:57

Whose family member ? The mans or his wifes family member?
If his own that is gross and no question about anyone needing forgiveness more issues there.
If his wife's family member well then depends if you accept kissing as cheating drunk or not.

olivesarelife · 20/11/2018 18:57

Ok just read ur update

Shirleyphallus · 20/11/2018 18:57

Well that’s a bit less interesting

I was hoping for some sort of webbed feet warning

My6KidCircus · 20/11/2018 18:58

I suppose if you forgive one, you can't really hold a grudge with the other .. however I would never be forgiving either of them. Drunk or not.

SimplySteve · 20/11/2018 19:00

Forgive? Relationship gone.

Carpetglasssofa · 20/11/2018 19:02

bertielab · 20/11/2018 19:14

Nope -not him or her.

TheBigFatMermaid · 20/11/2018 19:47

Up to her if she forgives her husband, it is their relationship. They may have children together, which makes throwing it all away for a snog harder.

Cousins wife, would drop in a heartbeat!

Caprisunorange · 20/11/2018 19:48

I agree with this, why would she have to forgive the cousins wife? Her husband and marriage is all that matters surely?

Shoxfordian · 20/11/2018 19:50

I'd divorce him
