Oh Jeff Buckley!

Also, the Cranberries.

Ohyesiam · 17/11/2018 10:02

ThatssomebadhatHarry well for a crush/ shag fantasy yes, that’s kind of the point.
If micro managed political correctness won over sexuality th world would be a dull dull place.

C0untDucku1a · 17/11/2018 10:07

I think women looked more easily identifiable in the 90s. Because of botox and makeup trends like contouring, faces looks very similar now. Some famous faces are unrecognisable without the contouring. And i dont mean makeup free, baseball cap and running away from cameras, just not contoured within an inch of their lives.

And your hair did what it wanted to do by its nature. Not everyone had long, thick, waves.

I dont miss Pre-straightener days though.

For me, the men are Damon Albarn and Christian Slater. Every time. Posters everywhere. Maybe River Phoenix. Oh and Mark-Paul Gossalaar.

C0untDucku1a · 17/11/2018 10:07

whitedust amazing.

MissMarplesKnitting · 17/11/2018 10:11

Jason Priestley. Oooooh and he's still gorgeous now.

sackrifice · 17/11/2018 10:12

When (back in the real world) a lot of men looked like this...

Not in my world they didn't thankfully.

Many of the fine people on this thread I met, chatted with, got drunk with and had breakfast with backstage at gigs/festivals etc. Happy Days.

Anyone remember Greg Dulli?

FickleFingers · 17/11/2018 10:32

ThatssomebadhatHarry Always one isn't there.... Do get off your high horse if it's not too far down.

HotSauceCommittee · 17/11/2018 10:43

Yes, L7, Riot Girls, PJ Harvey, Hole, sexy people of both sexes with fewer sartorial gender stereotypes. Those were the days.

MrsStrowman · 17/11/2018 10:44

They all looked a bit greasy and undernourished....

KnitFastDieWarm · 17/11/2018 12:09

Can I also mention Jurassic Park-era Jeff Goldblum?
Whenever I feel despondent about current trends, I comfort myself with the fact that at least it’s not the 00s any more and low rise jeans and thongs are no longer A Thing Grin

WithAFaeryHandInHand · 17/11/2018 12:20

Low rise jeans are the worst. Nobody looked good in those!

MrsEvedder · 17/11/2018 12:29

No doubt you can tell the love of my life from my user name.....
But yes so many beautiful men, can't quite believe that Anthony kiedis hasn't been mentioned yet.

FrankiesKnuckle · 17/11/2018 12:39

Superclubs and superstar DJs.

Sasha swoon

chocolatebox1 · 17/11/2018 12:46

Brandon Lee (in The Crow), my one true love!

JacquesHammer · 17/11/2018 12:48

Give me a skinny guitarist with long hair any day

Absolutely 100% this

LivingDeadGirlUK · 17/11/2018 13:10

Has anyone mentioned Brandon Boyd yet? mmmmmmmmmm :)

EnoughAlready999 · 17/11/2018 13:23

My favourite bloke Damon Albarn has been on my local radio today and says he lives down here in Devon all the time now 😊😊
I do also love Ryan Gosling though. DP is a combination of both!

billybullshitterz1 · 17/11/2018 13:39

One word Hutchence

Strugglingtodomybest · 17/11/2018 13:42

Robert Smith, Keanu, Keifer Sutherland and Jean-marc Barr from The Big Blue. I loved them all Grin

alltoomuchrightnow · 17/11/2018 13:44

I had an almost life sized Jarvis Cocker poster at the top of my stairs.
I was obsessed . Most beautiful man ever.
Still love him.
I could have stayed in the 90s forever.
Yes and Hutchence too.

Loraline · 17/11/2018 13:51

@oneshotfinch

I still would Grin

This thread is great! A lovely trip down memory lane Smile

Especially agree - Kurt Cobain. Absolutely beautiful and a gorgeous haunting voice.
Michael Hutchence particularly when he was leading Kylie astray.

Can I also add Huey Morgan?

ReadWriteDraw · 17/11/2018 14:34

I also adored many of the 90s men and women (esp Evan Dando!) but looking back now - most of them look like they need a good wash. They all look a bit grubby!! Maybe it’s just me...

lovemylot1 · 17/11/2018 14:39

What about Malcolm from Just Seventeen?

natwebb79 · 17/11/2018 14:42

@lexilooo I was obsessed with Malcom in Just 17, haha! There was another fit Just 17 model, I think he was called Rufus?? Grin
