So basically yeah every week he turns up desperate for the loo and needs to go . He does a crap then the driving lesson.
I've had enough I have toilet OCD and have to stop everything to bleach all over . My toilet is just for family I don't like it at all .
I want to tell him no never again so don't ask again

I always find this so sad that people aren't understanding of others problems. I'm sure he must feel embarrassed by it. I suffer from IBS and if I've got to go I've got to go then and there. Sometimes places aren't open to use the toilets there if he needs to go. You have two options - be a decent human being and let him use your loo or change driving instructor (because he uses your loo!)

I agree that people should be willing to let people use their toilet - workmen, delivery men who are caught short etc. Most people won't poo in a strangers toilet, but will do so if they are desperate.

I think it's unusual for someone to poo in a toilet like this on a WEEKLY basis. It's something that a weekly visitor might do occasionally rather than regularly and does seem a bit odd. Perhaps he does have IBS or some thing similar and life is pretty difficult for him with his job. If there isn't some kind of medical explanation like this, whilst I agree with most people that people's shouldn't be so precious about their toilets what are designed for shit, it is unusual to regularly poo in the toilet of your customers when picking them up. I think the regularity of the occurrence is probably the issue.

Switch the lesson time if you really hate it......but also accept that it's polite to allow people in this kind of situation use your loo and not a big deal. And also accept some people have difficulties in this area and a bit of sympathy doesn't go amiss. Bits difficult to know if he's being a bit of a cheeky git or has a genuine problem, so probably give him the benefit of the doubt.

Odd that it's every time, like the shitting man from the classic thread ... I wouldn't like it either. If you can't tell him straight then say it's out of order ... every time he asks. He'll get the message. But then I'd be annoyed if he took time out of the lesson hour to go elsewhere - really his problem to be resolved BEFORE turning up at your house. Surely there are public loos, petrol stations, supermarkets somewhere near?

TimeForDinnerDinnerDinner · 16/11/2018 17:24

It doesnt matter what Mumsnet think.
If you don't like him pooing in your loo each week you don't have to let him.
Your house.
Your toilet.
Your rules.

Personally, I'd hate it. Every week?!? Good grief.

I'm always amazed how many people on here aren't bothered by randoms stinking their house out, and it's always men, you never see posts about women doing this. Most of us seem to manage to go before work etc.. Yes it's a toilet but it's not a public toilet. Every time I've let someone use our staff toilet at work I've instantly regretted it, delivery drivers seem to have particularly foul toilet habits. I'd just be in the bath every time he's due personally.

LadyFidgetAndHerHandbag · 16/11/2018 17:36

I have two questions:

  1. do you actually have OCD diagnosed by a doctor or are you diagnosing yourself?
  2. does your daughter like her instructor and think she's learning well?
Mishappening · 16/11/2018 17:39

He may have IBS as do I. I have been extremely thankful for the kindness of many people who have allowed me to use their loo.

Or it could just be the prospect of your DD's awful driving!

TheFreaksShallInheritTheEarth · 16/11/2018 17:47

What the fuck is "toilet OCD"? Is that in the ICD-10? Grin
