My plan is to get tea (dinner) sorted early, get in my jammies and snuggle down under a throw and watch a cheesy TV Christmas movie with the candles and nibbles.

Have a good evening what ever you're doing x

Confused

Do you think they'll do the old stuff?? I saw they had a new album out but not sure I'd like it after being such a huge fan when I was a teenager

TheBigFatMermaid · 09/11/2018 16:38

Normally, DP takes DD to karate and I get three hours home alone with DS. When I say alone with DS, I mean alone, while DS plays on the PS!

Tonight though, DP is dropping me and 13 year old DD off at karate, then taking DS to go and get my DM, a 70 mile round trip, then picking us up and all going home together.

Nice change for me to be able to watch DD, nice for DS and DP to spend half the journey alone together.

The jury is out on whether it will be nice having DM here for the weekend. I thought it would be a good thing, as she is normally very down on DD and all for DS. As DD is laying the wreath on Sunday, representing Air Cadets, I thought she might do 'proud Granny' for a bit, but we shall see.

And I have wandered way off topic! Sorry!

TinDogTavern · 09/11/2018 16:38

I'm going to a gig, which I also did last night, because I'm growing old disgracefully.

Norma27 · 09/11/2018 16:41

I’m off to see The Full Monty with my 3 best mates. Can’t wait!

DonaldDucksTowel · 09/11/2018 16:41

Pizza, film, wine - standard Friday night
Except it’s not really Friday because DP is working 7 day weeks for a while so I’ve still got all the kids all by myself all weekend ... not too much wine for me 🙄

theycallmebabydriver · 09/11/2018 16:42

I'm currently lying on the sofa with 5month old DD lying on top of me playing with her feet. I'm making her giggle by playing bum bongos on her. Think we'll just do this

RandomUsernameHere · 09/11/2018 16:42

At the moment I'm watching DD's and DS's swimming class, then getting them showered and changed, going home, giving them supper (which I made earlier) then DH and I will have supper and watch TV once they're in bed. Looking forward to getting cosy at home, there's a big storm here tonight!

chestylarue52 · 09/11/2018 16:43

I am putting on a sparkly dress and going out dancing, I’ve had a really tough week so I’m excited 🙂

Changingagain · 09/11/2018 16:45

7 weeks pregnant, so I'll try and stay awake long enough for tea. Though I'll probably fail which DS will find most amusing and then I'll go to bed at 7.30 when DS does. I'm so exciting!

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 09/11/2018 16:47

Hair wash, wine, film and food in that order

CryHavoc · 09/11/2018 16:47

Sofa, Indian takeaway, wine, telly, and chatting with my husband. I am in my pjs already.

Allchangehere346 · 09/11/2018 16:48

It’s cheat night 😏

So a takeaway curry with all the trimmings, watching the soaps after dd has gone to bed.

Just remembered we have baileys too! That is definitely happening.

Bezalelle · 09/11/2018 16:57

Skim-reading a pile of books people have lent me so I can give them all back Blush

Then soup for dinner, and Remembrance service at synagogue.

AmIFalling · 09/11/2018 17:00

Pizza. jarmies. Wine.

Winning

Suomynona · 09/11/2018 17:01

Both shattered after illnesses and very little sleep this week. Had bath and PJ's on already. DP just doing the same. Traditional Friday 5pm Negronis served early at 4.30 this week as both worked from home this afternoon. Ahead lies cheesy fritatta, red wine, Mastermind, drama series on catch up, me asleep by 9pm tops. Bloody lovely (although had a tiny twinge of envy about going to see The Prodigy. Only tiny though).

confusedandemployed · 09/11/2018 17:08

@Nquartz I feel the same so am hoping for several blasts from the past!

Nicpem1982 · 09/11/2018 17:14

Im going to the theatre as a friend has suprised me

I was planning to watch a movie

sureitsgrand · 09/11/2018 17:26

It's miserable out here. I'm watching t.v. with 10 month old ds asleep on me. DH is in bed for an hour, after a soaking cold day working outside. Toddler ds asleep in bed with chickenpox. Will order takeaway and get wine later but other than that I'm enjoying the peace and am not moving

Heaviestdirtyestsoul · 09/11/2018 17:39

Friend and her 8 year old daughter coming over for a roast dinner, kids allowed up late as they play with friends dd, family movie on, we will natter, drink tea and finish up with sticky toffee pudding, toffee sauce and custard- I'm lucky my mister was a chef in his youger days 😂 (my clothes arent, his cooking is way too yummy 😁)

OvertiredandConfused · 09/11/2018 17:46

I’m going to see Christopher Ecclestone in Macbeth. It’s something I’d usually love and DH booked it as a treat. But I’m tired and grumpy and it’s a struggle to drag myself on a train to town!

dogwoofbark · 09/11/2018 17:48

Was going to take a boat ride to the mainland to get take away and see friends but had a call to pick ds up early from school as he'd smacked his head so want to keep him home quiet.

Davros · 09/11/2018 17:49

Which version of Sabrina, I need to know?! Humphrey Bogart or Harrison Ford.
DH and I were out for lunch which included some red wine. I might have a glass of fino sherry in a minute and then try the Buck's Fizz DD and I bought. Maybe some cheese and a film but don't know what to watch. I don't think I can bring myself to watch a Christmas film just yet and I can't see anything new on Apple TV that's any good.

Pyjamaface · 09/11/2018 17:51

Friday night dinner! My sister's turn to cook, 5 adults and a lovely squishy 2 week old. Can't cuddle the baby though as my own delightful child has infected me with lurgy

weegiemum · 09/11/2018 17:51

Dh was off today but has just left for a weekend shift so I won't see him again until Monday morning. He made the lounge all cosy for me before he left - candles lit and he bought me roses!

Ds is holed up in his room with Red Dead Redemption 653 (2?) and dd2 has a friend over for the night, a really nice friend. We're having Mexican food and then I'm going to catch up on 2 tv shows and drink wine, and go to bed early with the dog. He gets to sleep with me when dh is working overnight!

Bluelonerose · 09/11/2018 17:54

I've spent all day cleaning the house. Got dinner cooking and already in pjs.
Hopefully be in bed by 8pm to watch tv for a bit.
