I can't stand not having anything to listen to when I'm working/ doing housework.

I usually catch up on Corrie/eastenders etc (I know the voices so well I don't have to watch ) but feel like podcasts would be better!

I've not listened to any since Russell Brand's 5 million years ago.

Help!

I loved Serial. Am also currently enjoying slowburn and pod save America.
If you are into films then We Watch Anything always makes me chuckle.

Films to be buried with - (minor) celebs discuss their favourite films with Brett Goldstein. It’s llke having a chat with friends. Premise is guest has died and is asked various questions - what was first film you remember seeing? What film is film you hate that everyone else loves? It’s very gentle and empathetic interviewing.
Jayde Adams 11 October was great. She speaks very honestly about her sister dying, grief and loss (but there are lighter moments too - just to prep that there is done talk about difficult subjects)

I am currently subscribed and listen most to -
Chat podcasts - ‘Fortunately’ (Fi Glover and Jane Garvey) and ‘The High Low’. stuff you should know’ and ‘We’ve got this’ (both American 2 guys talking through stuff -diverting/funny/informative)
Crime - Serial, Teacher’s Pet (really good Australian cold case series), up and vanished (justnlistened to series 1 Georgia USA cold case really excellent)
Other - craig’s List (us couple going through his top 100 film list watching then discussing - interesting) soul music (radio 4 excellent programmes looking at one song and what it means to people - lots of episodes!)
Always love ‘this American life’ ‘reply all’ (some fascinating stories think I love this one the most always interesting)
Used to love ‘oh no Ross and carrie’ - they did a remarkable investigation into Scientology a few years ago. Those episodes are truly great/interesting and worth listening to (but it has become less good and I no longer listen much).
Hope helpful !!

The BBC's Friday Night Comedy podcast gives you that week's episode of The News Quiz, The Now Show or Dead Ringers, whichever's on at the time. If you're into sport, Flintoff, Savage and The Ping Pong Guy is fun.

All my faves have been mentioned except for Berkhamstead Revisited, which me and DH both regularly guffaw at!! But probably only for those who are currently 25-30 ish, as it’s about being in high school at the time those people would have been. 2005-2009 ish. Very funny and VERY relatable.

Marking my place so I can note these later. I listen to Audible a lot, but keep using up my credits so want to get some podcasts to pad out the time.
