1 tomato
1 hard boiled egg
A spoonful of coleslaw
3 slices beetroot
Sprinkling of grated cheese over the tomato

Are we talking 300 or 600 here?

If have said between 400-500 depending on size of coleslaw and cheese.

Ham: 100 (could be much less, or more, ham is very variable)
Egg:80
Beetroot/toms: 50
Coleslaw:100
Cheese: 100

Thats about 420. If that's all you had for lunch seems fine to me. I wouldn't have booth cheese and coleslaw if it were me, but it's really not too bad. If you thought of it as a meal rather than a salad I would say it's pretty decent calories. It just seems a lot when you describe it as salad bias a meal it's

To be fair, if your goal is to lose weight and or eat healthier then you could have done much worse than this platter-cum-salad mix.

Have a look at the blood sugar diet and for what little it's worth try to avoid becoming obsessive about calorie counting.

This is my regular salad for lunch. No idea of calories.

It is a salad - it's a ham and egg salad. Tomato, beetroot and coleslaw are all salad vegetables. The first online definition I just found was 'a mixture of cold vegetables often with dressing sometimes accompanied by meat or fish'.

Lol yes, I have tomato beetroot and coleslaw as sides with my steak and chips and call that a salad too. 🤣
