One of our guinea-pigs is white-ish with splodges of colour ...he does not taste like nougat when we lick him (not that we do BTW)

What loony slow cooker Zebra? It goes dry and grainy. Very fast, on a griddle, with a little oil is the way.

DSis ate crocodile (tastes as bad as it looks apparently , like a hookers' handbag) and venison (which tastes like Bambi )

Funny I should come across this thread, I've just baked biscuits in the shape of my cat and I've tried to match it to his personality! Sweet and buttery but with a hint of spice as he's ginger
