Let's hope it was secretly and not to upstage poor Eugenie!

It's been obvious she is pregnant for the last month. It's nice it's been announced. The palace PR team really are a bunch of amateurs. They should have waited a day. When I worked for a manager whose wife had lost babies I made sure I didn't tell them on a day of significance to pregnancy loss.

EdWinchester · 15/10/2018 18:27

I don’t suppose for one minute they announced it at the wedding.

That’s just Daily Mail bollocks.

I think they seem a lovely couple and I’m delighted for them.

SillySallySingsSongs · 15/10/2018 18:29

It's very poor taste - particularly as Eugenie and Jack were forced to postpone their wedding for months so that Harry and Meghan could go first

The Sussex were engaged first.

SillySallySingsSongs · 15/10/2018 18:30

That’s just Daily Mail bollocks.

It's been said all over the press. O imagine they did say something, but mist all ready knew.

PreseaCombatir · 15/10/2018 18:31

As if Meghans been ‘booked in with a midwife’. She’ll hve the best consultants in the world

percheron67 · 15/10/2018 19:18

SillySally. Eugenie and Jack had to postpone engagement and wedding so that Meme could go first. I think Harry takes precedence in regard to announcements.

Cachailleacha · 15/10/2018 19:24

What better time to announce happy news than at an event where family are all together? Could only add more joy to the day Confused.

Do you know what, I'm sure they'll cope. Her name is Meghan by the way.

LaurieMarlow · 15/10/2018 20:15

so that Meme could go first

Why would you be so pointlessly nasty about someone you don't know? Confused

BrightonGallery7 · 15/10/2018 20:16

Meme!? Kinda apt, though!

BrightonGallery7 · 15/10/2018 20:17

Me-again is quite good, too.

JacquesHammer · 15/10/2018 20:17

It’s absolutely astonishing how many people who know Meghan well, and are intimately acquainted with the minutiae of her life are on MN.

Quite the coincidence.

EdWinchester · 15/10/2018 20:18

Meme? How pathetic and bitchy.

A lot of very jealous and spiteful women on here.

NotACleverName · 15/10/2018 20:19

God help users who think they're being clever with these "witty" puns on Meghan's name.

BrightonGallery7 · 15/10/2018 20:20

Jealous of her? I think not.
🙄

NotACleverName · 15/10/2018 20:22

And yet you manage to post in almost every thread about her and have done for god knows how long, BrightonWhiteTipsGallery.

Weird....

MartaTam · 15/10/2018 20:25

The "witty posters" are really users who are in need of help. They are cowards and playground bullies. I just hope to God none of them are parents.

BrightonGallery7 · 15/10/2018 20:27

None of them IS...

BrightonGallery7 · 15/10/2018 20:28

None is a condensed form of no one.
You’re welcome.

SusanneLinder · 15/10/2018 20:31

When I first heard this, I thought " wonder what Mumsnet is saying about that"...Grin

Oh dear, if you’re going to correct grammar, at least get it right. None can take either a singular or plural verb.

You’re welcome.

BrightonGallery7 · 15/10/2018 20:35

Not if one is being particularly correct.

🙂

BrightonGallery7 · 15/10/2018 20:36

“None are...”is sloppy. Very very sloppy.
