Where are you @Partyfops ? You seem to have disappeared!

BabySharkDooDooDooDoo · 13/10/2018 20:25

When ds was around that age he got a chip to suck on or a wee bit of chicken to have. Also gave him a taste of a milkshake and ice cream (not all in one visit... Grin) but all at different times, sometimes he got a taste but most of the time he didnt. He is a healthy and happy 3yr old so it must not of done him any harm lol

OnceUponATimeInAmerica · 13/10/2018 20:26

reallyreallynow isn’t it called a bitchplop? Drop your grenade to wind ‘em up, then sit behind your screen smirking at everyone frothing.

TrainsandDiggers · 13/10/2018 20:28

Horrible. I would be upset seeing that.

EwItsAHooman · 13/10/2018 20:34

Upset? Really!?

NotACleverName · 13/10/2018 20:35

Horrible. I would be upset seeing that.

Have you considered investing in a grip?

Elementtree · 13/10/2018 20:37

Horrible. I would be upset seeing that.

Maybe they should do trigger warnings at the entrance doors?

TrainsandDiggers · 13/10/2018 20:37

It seems only some people’s opinions are considered valid on this thread... 🤔

Yes, it would upset me to see that, for all the reasons that likeminded posters have already given. That’s genuinely how I feel.

whiteroseredrose · 13/10/2018 20:37

Too much fat and salt possibly #caprisun?

Mine never had them, still haven't (15 and 18). Just not somewhere we'd ever think to go. Unpleasant food not a treat. There are probably things there that are fine but other places do them much better.

EwItsAHooman · 13/10/2018 20:38

If you're going to sit and weep in McDonald's or feel emotionally unsettled over the food choices of complete fucking strangers then I suggest you may need professional help.

TrainsandDiggers · 13/10/2018 20:39

I wouldn’t be in there in the first place to be honest.

EwItsAHooman · 13/10/2018 20:40

"That would upset me" isn't an opinion, it's hyperbolic ridiculousness.

TrainsandDiggers · 13/10/2018 20:40

You’re right, it’s not an opinion. It’s a fact.

Courtneybrown · 13/10/2018 20:45

Shit i gave my 11 month old baby a fish finger to suck on at mcdonalds ... that he mashed up ... should i report myself?

PlinkPlink · 13/10/2018 20:48

I would not give my child MacDonalds. He's 16mo.

It is not abuse to feed your child MacDonalds though.

Caprisunorange · 13/10/2018 20:48

There isn’t too much fat and salt in them though

^^ excellent post Grin

BakedBeans47 · 13/10/2018 20:51

I wouldn’t be upset at a baby having a McDonald’s chicken nugget but I did once see someone giving a newborn a milky bar to suck on in Asda and did think that was pretty awful :(

reallyreallynow · 13/10/2018 20:53

@OnceUponATimeInAmerica yep you're right! 👍

VerbeenaBeeks · 13/10/2018 20:59

Step away from watching the news then where yanno, actual real bad things happen.

Do you know what abuse is OP?

SarfE4sticated · 13/10/2018 20:59

Funny you say that BakedBeans a woman in front of me was buying a massive bar of Milky Bar chocolate and said she was getting her baby's milk for her. Baby was about 8months old and sat in pushchair. I thought/hoped she was joking!

VerbeenaBeeks · 13/10/2018 21:06

Where are you @Partyfops ? You seem to have disappeared!

I'm calling bitch plop too, wind 'em up and then sit back cackling Grin
Next you know it'll be threads about toddlers in pushchairs with Greggs sausage rolls and Fruit Shoots.
Grrr

EwItsAHooman · 13/10/2018 21:10

I gave DD a Gregg's sausage roll the other day, she's 18mo. I'd been at a hospital appointment and it was the only food place nearby so we both had one. When I handed it to her I said "here DD, have a dummy!".
