Why?!?!

Is it likely to pass through?!

I am so worried!

OP posts:
BlessYourCottonSocks · 10/10/2018 20:48

Ha! Edible food skin? I'm not a complete muppet then...

CurlsLDN · 10/10/2018 20:48

@pebbles you sure that's not the sausage casing? A pepperami has two wrappers and inside is a sausage with its own casing

Pebblespony · 10/10/2018 20:50

Ah maybe. That would make sense.Blush

JenBarber · 10/10/2018 20:50

I think they're edible. Like a sausage skin.

The labels on fruit are also edible.

BlessYourCottonSocks · 10/10/2018 20:53

Ah..no I don't. Sorry (ignore me). I am an idiot. I take the slidey plastic off. Its the sausage skin I eat.

ChristmasArmadillo · 10/10/2018 20:53

OP’s child is hardly “disgusting”. That’s a bit worse than calling a cat stupid. Hmm

They aren’t actually called condoms, are they?? Hopefully cat is at the vet and being taken care of, poor thing.

CurlsLDN · 10/10/2018 20:55

"transparent casing around the salami is not edible"

Sorry @bless and op's cat, you've both been eating plastic

CurlsLDN · 10/10/2018 20:55

I take it back @bless, phew!

Willow2017 · 10/10/2018 20:56

Some inner casings on other 'pepperamis' are clearly plastic though.

QuaffleyGood · 10/10/2018 20:58

Unknown to us my cat ingested string and became very unwell and needed two operations after it got tangled round her intestines. She's definitely got 9 lives.

Ring your vet.

Tomorrowillbeachicken · 10/10/2018 21:09

Lol, not a condom... just something to stop a sausage being impregnated?

WhoLetTheCatsOut · 10/10/2018 21:13

So deliberately feeding an animal plastic isn't disgusting behaviour if the child/person knows they shouldn't? Ok then.

princesstiasmum · 10/10/2018 21:23

Stupid cat!?! you shouldnt really have a cat if you are blaming it, more like stupid daughter and mother for allowing it to happen OMG SOME people,!!!

ileclerc · 10/10/2018 21:24

Dog did this except I didn't know about it until it came out when he did a poo and got stuck...

Dollymixture22 · 10/10/2018 21:29

Your vet will have an put of hours number - they will be able to advise over the phone.

Please give them a call. Depending on her age it might be a good time to gently explain to your daughter how animal she can be hurt by this type of thing. I hope she is quite young, and not a cruel teen!

Lavalamped · 10/10/2018 21:34

@blessyourcottonsocks your comment made me laugh, even if you might actually be correct

Owllwo · 10/10/2018 21:39

His turd will come out like a sausage.

Poor thing. Definitely ‘ffs stupid DD’.

AnaVanda · 10/10/2018 21:41

One of my cats once ate the string fromm a joint of pork. As it started coming out of his bottom, it got stuck so I had to take him to the vet. The vet said it could be very serious if it pulls on a cat's bowels and could have caused injury. He kept the cat in and gve him laxatives to help move it along. Watch your cat closely and takevot to the vet if you are at all concerned.

Charolais · 10/10/2018 21:43

The cat will be traumatized for life because OP called her/him stupid on mums net. All his/her friends are going to laugh at him/her.

TheDarkPassenger · 10/10/2018 21:49

My dog once ate all the little plastic balls from hungry hippos. I had to fucking email hasbro and ask how many were in there so I could count them in her shit as they came back out. Worst few days of my life.

If my dog ate this I wouldn’t even think to be concerned but she definitely has pica issues.. we have to hide everything!

ChristmasArmadillo · 10/10/2018 22:20

No, a child doing something foolish isn’t disgusting. It’s childlike. I doubt she’s 16!

sizeofalentil · 11/10/2018 07:26

I'm assuming the OP was calling the cat 'stupid' in an affectionate way. Presumably, it is a cat that often gets in to trouble.

But don't let that get in the way of derailing a thread and harassing OP until they don't want to come back, will you?

Pebblespony · 11/10/2018 20:00

Any update on the cat OP?

QuackPorridgeBacon · 12/10/2018 23:24

How’s the cat op?
