My daughter is 20 and is only really sociable online. She stayed at home for uni and just plays games online my concern is she has been buying people points and skins and stuff in games. Some being as young as 14. I've told her I think it looks odd. She says she buys them for people her age to.

I hate that she's buying stuff for people that are probably just using her. She says that she's popular but I can probably guess the reason!!

I don't know if I can put a stop to t while she lives at home. Hate that she's buying them for children as well. Could bring all kinds of trouble and allegations to the house.

It sounded like you were asking if you can stop her? Confused

It doesn't sound like she'll listen regards other adults just exploiting her so maybe she'll listen if you tell her how it looks regarding the children she is buying things for, that as an adult she really shouldn't do things like that and while under your roof she stops it.

ok, sorry, maybe the pub was a bit of a stretch if some are 14, but in that case a coffee in costa. if she was meeting - as a large group - to discuss a mutual hobby in costa (with people from 14-40 present) and paid for a round of drinks i wouldnt think twice. but maybe i just see it differently.

Buying a round of coffees is different if there’s a mutual expectation that someone else will get it next time.

But if it’s always one sided then yes, still odd.

I think it's the way she socializes with others. Its like a hobby to her. I believe you can stop her from doing that specially if shes happy doing it.
Moreover, its her money and she can do anything about it.

They are using her.
