I'd just like to voice that the notion that black women are often considered less attractive than their white / asian / mixed counterparts is patently true.
No-one is saying that black women are actually uglier. But by virtue of social, cultural bias/conditioning and so forth black women are often rated less attractive whilst equally being hyper-sexualised.
FWIW I'm mixed race.
In fact the issue of black women and beauty is deeply rooted in an almost immutable way among various black communities. So for example, the lighter your skin, the straighter your hair - the more beautiful you are. If you're black and also happen to have blue/green eyes then it's basically like having won the genetic lottery.
