To ask your Saturday plans?

I love a good old plans thread and am a slightly nosey person ha ha.

*What are you doing today?

We have decorating to finish and some cleaning up to do but I got up this morning in a hormonal, moody, can't be bothered sort of mood so the day has, upto now been spent slumped in a chair with Big Bang theory on Netflix, crisps and chocolate and lots of tea. I'm going to get moving soon, do a quick kitchen tidy well DP does the glossing then we're going to settle down with a film and some more nibbles this evening. I hate feeling like this and probably not helping myself by slumping and eating so much rubbish but it's all I could muster this morning lol.

@thighofrelief id happily do that exact day today if I could.. because it looks like I'm not getting a Chinese I'm opening playing the devil on your shoulder and ENCOURAGING you to get one. Enjoy every last bite of it for me xxx

Washer has given up the ghost and I am hand washing uniforms and underwear socks and pjs for 6 kids! I have also done the cleaning downstairs and after I finish the washing and loaded the poor drier (4 times today so far ) cook the tea bath 6 kids I have plans ( see if I get there) to dye my roots. I also have yet to write out the cards and wrap presents for my sons 8th birthday tomorrow. I have also plans to eat a meal today as I have only managed a cup of earl grey and half a jam sandwich

I've been into work, ferried teenager about, and am now wasting time on here/watching Judge Judy... got laundry and cleaning to do... And need to go to shop but cba...

Now snuggled up in bed with a cup of tea and a few biscuits about to watch an episode of Killing Eve which I am loving

Ds playing probably for longer than he should

It’s pouring with rain so not going cycling as planned

My Saturday goals are:

Showered (check)
Make my own breakfast (check)
Carefully put a wash on (check)
Lots of sofa time as I'm recovering from a hysterectomy (double check)

I've accomplished all my goals for today, and may reward myself with some ice cream later!

@Tapirbackrider well done on checking off your whole list of jobs, I've not had an op and still hardly done any of them. Extra pat on your back today. I hope you're recovering well and not over doing it. Enjoy the rest of your Saturday relaxing lots of get well wishes to you xx

Got up early, went for a walk, came back made a pasta bake and chilled watching TV for a bit. Now about to clean and put washing away then get ready to go to the theatre tonight!

Sofa day here

@sirmione16 sounds like a lovely day, I wish I could sit on my sofa but it's his under a pile of decorating sheets atm lol, once it's all done I will be doing just what you've done for at least a day ha ha. Enjoy the rest of your Saturday xx

We got up
I did breakfast
Dh took girls to jujitsu
I looked after the boys,
Stripped beds,
Tidied up,
Put some washing on,
Dh got back
I did lunch
We took they to look at new bikes (dc4s bday at the weekend)
We dropped eldest off to meet friend
Took younger three to the shops to get a few bits
Came home
I went to pick the ironing up
Dh gone to the gym
Dh taking dog out
I'm going to the supermarket.

Very boring and not very rock and roll BUT

Tonight I'm going out with girlfriends, proper out out. To a fancy restaurant and for cocktails and dancing. So so looking forward to it

I’m in Lanzarote with DD
We were supposed to come back yesterday but there were problems with our flight so they offered us a longer stay in a luxury all inclusive hotel free plus other bonuses
It was a tough decision!
We even got a sea view executive suite of rooms with wrap around balcony

Today has consisted of -

DS sports match
DS 1-1 training
Aldi food shop
Flop on the sofa for 2 hour sleep (chronic illness and bloody exhausted and in pain)
Just about to shift myself to go for a shower.
Tonight will consist of more sofa dossing, wine, pasta and TV.

Thanks! My sofa is certainly appreciating the extra attention it's getting at the moment

food shopping this morning (full morning as per)
Chilled afternoon watching a film
Now at a comedy night in Nottingham
Then probably a take away and bottle of wine as I dont have the kids

Ten hour shift at work, home, shower, food and bed ready for a ten hour shift tomorrow. Such fun.
