I love a good old plans thread and am a slightly nosey person ha ha.

*What are you doing today?
*
We have decorating to finish and some cleaning up to do but I got up this morning in a hormonal, moody, can't be bothered sort of mood so the day has, upto now been spent slumped in a chair with Big Bang theory on Netflix, crisps and chocolate and lots of tea. I'm going to get moving soon, do a quick kitchen tidy well DP does the glossing then we're going to settle down with a film and some more nibbles this evening. I hate feeling like this and probably not helping myself by slumping and eating so much rubbish but it's all I could muster this morning lol.

Have a lovely Saturday what ever your plans may be xx

QueenOfMyWorld · 06/10/2018 15:21

Went to indoor play area this morning to tire ds out Gin,me and dh out for drinks at friends tonight,ds is sleeping at his GP 😊

M00nUnit · 06/10/2018 15:23

I volunteered at my local parkrun this morning (timekeeping) as I have a knee injury and can't run at the moment, and now I'm on my way to my sister and brother-in-law's house so I can babysit for my lovely nieces because their parents are going to a bat mitzvah this evening.

Drycleanonly7 · 06/10/2018 15:24

I am recovering from a hangover. We took our son to a local nature reserve. Found a painted rock. Then we went to an Autumn Fair at a community allotment. Had a wood fired pizza. Then went to a small park. Found another rock. Am napping soon!

EnnieJuan · 06/10/2018 15:25

I work hard all week just to get to weekend. Mine has been as remarkable as ever today. 2 loads of washing on the line, walked to post office via park, made a big bowl of salad for lunch and put hot pot in for dinner tonight. Now in gym trying to burn off 3 Jaffa cakes and last night's wine. I may do ironing later if I've still got the energy.

maras2 · 06/10/2018 15:25

No kids or DGC's today so slept latish, then from 11 till twoish
Stuffed our faces with a full English prepared by DH.
Read Weekend Guardian.
MsNetted
Drank lots of tea till after two
DH gone to the rugby while I carry on internetting, waiting for the BBCR4ex play 'Tom and Viv' on at 4pm,after which DH gets home so will open the bar and wait for Strictly.
Hard work this retirement malarkey Smile

The kids are with my DF so we've had a child free trip to Alnwick. It has THE BEST second hand book shop and I've come home with a big bag of books that only cost £10 as I traded in loads of my old books. Had coffee and cake on the way home then it will be Dr Who, Strictly and a takeaway later.

mumof2sarah · 06/10/2018 15:30

@TattiePants that would be one of my perfect days. I go through stages where I read a lot then hardly at all but I love reading, and mixing that with cake and tea sounds like absolute perfection. Enjoy the rest of your day xx

Walked into town for DD eye test. No change, thank goodness.
Walked back in the pissing rain, had tea, a fry up and now dd is in her room staring at a screen and we're watching Bosch on Amazon Prime. It's great, I've read the books too.
Our house is freezing so we've got the blankets on. We're tight, not hard up.

EnnieJuan · 06/10/2018 15:34

@TattiePants we went to Alnwick on Monday and saw the book shop. It's huge! We thought the whole town was lovely and so many independent shops too.

Zoflorabore · 06/10/2018 15:36

Hi op :)

I've been up since 6, got ds (15) up and sorted to go to an away premier league game ( he's gone to Leicester ) and dd and dp have gone to waterworld in Stoke which is about an hour away from us in Liverpool so it's been very nice having the house to myself.

Just said bye to the man who has just fitted my new bathroom floor so am all happy cos it's lovely and I keep going to look at it Grin saddo.

Loads of housework to do ( bathroom spotless ) but am going food shopping as I'm starving and don't fancy anything I've got which is ridiculous really!
Need chocolate- time of the month and will be having an early night tonight as I've been a bit unwell this week.

Love these threads too. Have a great day everyone.

mumof2sarah · 06/10/2018 15:37

@Kemer2018 great news about the eye test. Sounds like you're having a lovely day. I've got my heating on, am frozen today and as someone who gets pneumonia easily I gave up on layering and bit the bullet. I'm sure it'll be going off soon though lol. Enjoy the rest of your day x

Been up since 8. Scoffed 3 bags of crisps, two sandwiches and 7 Jammie Dodgers.

Played some computer games and then watched the rest of series 10 of Doctor Who ready for tomorrow.

Plan to watch some more of The Good Doctor .

mumof2sarah · 06/10/2018 15:38

@Zoflorabore woohoo on having the day to yourself. Enjoy every minute and I hope you feel better soon xx

@darkriver198868 I've just been debating opening a pack of jammie dodgers lol. Going to be good until later ha ha. Enjoy the rest of the day x

IHaveBrilloHair · 06/10/2018 15:42

Ive just been mooching around, bit of housework, some washing and meal planning, plus catching up on my soaps.
Later will be Strictly and then Dd will bring me in a Chinese, she works in the takeaway so gets it free, Singapore rice noodles tonight, I was going to try something new but really fancy my favourite.

GMtoBe · 06/10/2018 15:43

We've fitted a baby gate to the kitchen doorway, put the ocado shop away and been shopping so I can buy a new running jacket. Just putting dd down for a power nap then will have Mexican food for dinner and hopefully a beer or two.

mumof2sarah · 06/10/2018 15:44

@IHaveBrilloHair sounds like a lovely day upto now. Very jealous of the free Chinese. My go to is duck and pancakes, if I ordered today in my hormonal state it would be.. duck, chicken satay skewers, Rice, chips and prawn crackers ha ha.. hence why I think DP is adamant it's not a takeaway sort of day, he knows what I'm like and how I'll complain tomorrow about being bloated and feeling awful lol x

Love these threads.

We were up and out for 9 for ds1 football game. Dh then went to work so I did the food shop then took ds to McDonald's.

Put food shopping away, cleaned the floors and now reading and relaxing for half an hour before I take the dog for a walk.

Pizza for tea then watching a film and earlyish night as we are up and out for rugby for ds2 at 8am tomorrow. Confused

mumof2sarah · 06/10/2018 15:45

@GMtoBe sounds like you've had a productive morning. Enjoy the rest of your day and your evening relaxing xx

I've got most of the day to myself so largely pottering, some laundry and now snuggling with the dogs on the sofa watching Ryan Philippe (phwoar) on Netflix. Contemplating a Chinese takeaway for tonight.
