Shit you’ve just reminded me I’ve left a few bits on the line Shock

Bushellight · 29/09/2018 20:41

Yawn

HoraceWimpIsThisYourLife · 29/09/2018 20:41

Yes but only after he’s shaken all of the earwigs out!

Fatted · 29/09/2018 20:42

MongerTruffle · 29/09/2018 20:42

LittleRen · 29/09/2018 20:44

This never used to bother me (mainly in the summer) but I did it last week and woke up to snail trails all over it

DriftingLeaves · 29/09/2018 20:44

This is absolutely the worst time of year to allow washing to be darked on.

Spider jizz everywhere.

ContessasGulagSpaDay · 29/09/2018 20:45

I do this. ALL THE TIME.

shakeyourcaboose · 29/09/2018 20:45

Bugger me too, wonder if could send the dog!

CarlGrimesMissingEye · 29/09/2018 20:47

Crap....

elQuintoConyo · 29/09/2018 20:49

All those moths 69ing on your tshirts, weasels using your towels as sex-towels and hedgehogs rolling around in your lacy pants for the lolz, posting their selfies on HogBook.

Your laundry will be fine, if a little insecty in the morning. Mine went out at 5pm, it'll be dry by 10 in the morning and full of sunshine freshness.

Holymosquito · 29/09/2018 20:49

He actually said ‘darked upon’ Grin will leave him to deal with spiders and snail trails in the morning.

StillSmallVoice · 29/09/2018 20:52

Um... what does 'darked on' mean? Leaving washing out overnight? Can't see a problem unless you are keen on dry clothes.

SalemBlackCat · 29/09/2018 20:57

Darked upon? What the actual fuck does that mean? Most people I know regularly leave their clothes out on the line overnight, sometimes if they are workers for 2 or 3 days. I thought that was normal? shrugs. What on earth are you even talking about? Please realise not every poster on here is from your region so can understand the vernacular.

Guiltypleasures001 · 29/09/2018 20:58

Darked on and spiders wiping their willies

That's a patio burying offence

Anasnake · 29/09/2018 21:00

Bats have sex parties on left out tea towels - fact,

shouldwestayorshouldwego · 29/09/2018 21:00

If he said darked upon then he must be on here somewhere.

chipsandgin · 29/09/2018 21:01

Oooh no, spiders willies Grin

AwdBovril · 29/09/2018 21:04

Darked On - it's a MN thing. Not a regional thing. I think there was a thread, ages ago...

dontticklethetoad · 29/09/2018 21:04

stillsmallvoice and salemblackcat if you know, you know.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 29/09/2018 21:06

I can cope with spider willies but we have a resident squirrel who bounces round the garden irritating my guinea-pigs "Oh look at me , I can climb this fence and run along it , and I'm Tailey " as he ruffled his fluffy tail in my guinea-pigs' direction.

And I bet he wipes his peanutty pooh arse on my white towels Angry

Gardai · 29/09/2018 21:08

I have a plastic, sorry ‘pleather’ jacket on the line from the teenager and it will stay there, covered in cobwebs, bird shit or other night time nasties.

FishesThatFly · 29/09/2018 21:09

Phew! Thanks OP DH... have just retrieved mine from outside

Sparklingbrook · 29/09/2018 21:09

I had to scrape the ice off my windscreen this morning, there is no point in leaving it out overnight, just get it in.
