Or is this rude?!

So last night dp went out with his ds (adult) and 2 friends. All good - they had a great time then came back here for a few drinks etc.....
I got up this morning about 8ish - as far as I knew every one else was still asleep, so I used our ensuite. Heard a car so looked out of the window and friends are leaving! Not a word said - no bye or thanks or anything!!! Tbf one friend (the one who was driving) does have form for this but that was when camping and bad weather so more understandable. Is it just me or is it really weird - and actually a bit rude - to just bugger off like that?! although at least I did get to eat all the croissants

lelepond, again, The OP says 'They were planned to stay - they knew I had bought stuff for breakfast and had said nothing to dp the night before - he was as hmm as me!'

Are you able to understand this?

I have text....

"Hey - hope you got home safe? Sorry didn't see you to say bye"

She was last on WhatsApp at 1pm so obvs is safe!

I find that a bit odd, are you not close friends?

Squirrelblanket · 23/09/2018 14:34

I guess it would have been nice if they'd left a note saying they were awake and thought they might as well get off, didn't want to wake you, thanks for having us etc.

But to be honest I would have just been so relieved they'd gone and I had my house back!

No, Nikita, not hard of comprehension, just with a more laid back attitude, I guess. My blood pressure thanked me for not getting upset over trifles some time ago.

I would be annoyed too. Very weird, especially since they didn't reply when you sent the WhatsApp message. I wouldn't extend the same kind offer again.

I think I would be annoyed now too. Didn't realise they were your friends too OP thought maybe they were your dps friends and didn't want to bother you in the morning. I wpuld be pretty pissed about the leaving and ignoring me. I think one of them has Mayne embarrassed themselves or been offended by something?
