To complain about what teachers wear?

More is she being unreasonable? Visiting a friend the other day with a daughter in year 5 I think. Just moved to a new school ( New to area).
My friend suddenly went on a rant about how it wasn’t on what the teachers were wearing and should she say something about it being inappropriate? Apparently it’s things like short skirts(other parents have commented about seeing Miss Xs knickers!), high heels and being over the top, like a fashion show.
She thinks it’s not a good example to set the children? Was she being unreasonable?

In the mid-60s my infants’ class used to sit cross legged on the floor transfixed by the view up our teacher’s skirt as she sat on a chair in front of us to read us a going home story. She wore bloomers with elastic in the legs. I think YABU. It’s up to the individual to wear what they are comfortable with.

It's odd that the dress code for children attending school seems to be strictly enforced while rarely enforced with the staff.

I find this odd too. It's either a formal environment or it's not and I observe that the teachers at my dc's school dress in a shabby manner but the uniform requirements are very strict and I can see why the kids struggle to respect the dress code applied to them.
