I don't get why people stockpile cleaning stuff! I have 1 bottle Zoflora, 1 bleach , 1 Mr Muscle bathroom cleaner, 1 Mr Muscle window cleaner, 1 bottle of fairy liquid! Would rather have money sitting in my bank instead of my cupboard.

OftenHangry - completely agree with you there, I know getting to the point of making money on instragram takes hard work but it doesn’t take the hard work that a lot of people out there do such as all the late night studying, working for free to gain experience etc. It’s a shame those people arnt recognised, however that is the world we are in now a days. My friend is a second school teacher and she was telling me the jobs her pupils want when they grow up are all blogger, YouTube star, Instagram influencer. It’s a lazy way of making a lot of money.

Finks100 - I agree people should research themselves , influencers are going to advertise what’s given to them for free for that reason so they keep receiving it for free.

That Lynsey sure does think highly of herself.

shakethatass · 25/10/2018 18:57

She's just put a really strong harpic toilet cleaner tablet into her toilet... which is already spotlessly, sparkling clean.
The chemicals in this one are so harsh that you can't touch the tablet. You have to drop it from the wrapper or use gloves.
The toilet literally couldn't be more clean in the first place.
I really don't understand how she can measure the effectiveness of this product. It is sheer lunacy.

Also, she didn't know that bananas don't go in the fridge 🤦‍♀️

JessicaPeach · 25/10/2018 18:57

No she doesn't Madison, there's been about 10 eBay affiliate program swipe ups today alone, none marked as affiliate links

finks100 · 25/10/2018 19:09

@jessicapeach Glad it’s not just me who hadn’t noticed the links.
Today she has a new toaster a branded expensive one. I wonder how she got that....bearing in mind that yesterday she did a story about her toaster and didn’t mention it needed replaced and it didn’t look like it needed replaced.
If it has been sent to her it should be an ad- it’s that simple.

MaHeidsGouping · 25/10/2018 19:12

I watched the new toaster story and I'm giving it 2 days before there is a swipe up for hinchers to buy.

assumptionsmakeanarseofuandme · 25/10/2018 19:20

@finks100 it actually isnt’t that simple... if something is gifted without any written obligation to post about it, and without any money exchanging hands then you do not need to declare it as an #ad

staydazzling · 25/10/2018 19:20

i dont mind mrs hinch, i doubt shes perfect but some of these comments are too personal and a touch sneery tbh. i bet she'd be upset if she came across this thread

assumptionsmakeanarseofuandme · 25/10/2018 19:20

isn’t ffs 🤦🏼‍♀️

HSM19 · 25/10/2018 19:42

I think everyone is speculating , I don’t think all these eBay links are affiliates I think your all just jumping to conclusions. She #aff yesterday on some hand hoover thing. And I have seen her do it before, it is like I said many messages ago, you all need to mind your own business with that as some people are reporting her and she probably is completely innocent and up to scratch and bored people are just reporting her for no reason.

HSM19 · 25/10/2018 19:44

None of you know for a fact that she is getting paid of these swipe up links, she is probably doing them all in hope that her name will be picked up by the buisnesses and then they will work togeather.

Lilbee23 · 25/10/2018 20:15

I’ve just seen a post on a cleaning group on one of the army groups on Facebook - this woman has about 3 massive drawers full of zoflora. And says she goes through 5 bottles a day!!! Wow wtf

Bubba1234 · 25/10/2018 20:17

I agree the comments about her house decor are mean. Yes she likes greybut at least it’s in at the moment.

Mummyofsiz · 25/10/2018 20:25

I have nothing against Mrs Hinch. In fact used to watch her insta story daily. But I do think some of her behaviour resembles that of OCD. Daily rituals before bed with the sink and cloths/bloo down the toilet/freshener spray. Some behaviour seems repetitive and compulsive like cleaning the already clean sink again and again and again. Is she able to miss a whole day where she doesn’t do that? If not then that is OCD. The cleaning seems to be very controlling and not purposeful. For example never seen a deep clean behind the sofa or bed. Or cleaning something which is actually dirty. It all seems like daily rituals. Just wanted to give my two cents

nipersvest · 25/10/2018 20:27

None of you know for a fact that she is getting paid of these swipe up links

No, we don't know for sure. But, I don't believe anyone with over a million followers would be stupid enough not to monetise their account, its naive to assume they're not using affiliate links given the sheer number of swipe ups posted daily.

Homeinspo · 25/10/2018 20:27

I think you will find her ebay links are affilates and she is getting paid.
These are 2 links she done as swipe ups today.. the baskets and radiator cover.

I have attached how you see if someone gets paid for the link which they track.

The purple ink shows the links have the same ID etc which shows she gets a portion of the profits.

No one would have an issue if she was just honest about it.

They’re definitely affiliate links the eBay ones, she constantly posts them now, doubt she’s doing it out of the goodness of her heart. 😂

finks100 · 25/10/2018 20:32

She is signed up to Gleam agency, she will be being paid - it should be disclosed!

Peaches100 · 25/10/2018 20:49

assumptions - have you seen the guidelines on making ads clear?

www.asa.org.uk
Are you receiving benefits, freebies, free products, free visits, etc?
CMA rules apply here – you must make sure content is clearly identifiable as being paid-for. For example, by using the label ‘advertisement feature’ or ‘advertisement promotion’

It is simple and her agent will know this.

The first thread (this is the 2nd) she was apparently on and upset. (Say apparently as you can never be 100% sure of identity on here) Didn't stop people though.

Peaches100 · 25/10/2018 21:00

Also this is the Amazon affiliate program

affiliate-program.amazon.co.uk (can't link but you can look it up)

It reads, choose from over a million products to advertise to your customers. Whether you are a large network, content site or blogger, we have simple linking tools to meet your advertising needs and help you monetize your web site.

juneybean · 25/10/2018 21:09

Hinch potter...

Homeinspo · 25/10/2018 21:13

@peaches100 thanks for the amazon one. I knew about ebay but was unsure on amazon!

This is why you will see her only do swipe ups for those sites as thats how she can make money. If she popped a swipe up say for Argos she makes no profit.

Her followers are eating right into her hands 🙈

Peaches100 · 25/10/2018 21:32

Homeinspo - This is the Argos affiliate programme, Lol

Can't link, just look it up, but this is their Twitter twitter.com/ArgosAffiliates

Nearly every store has them, including fashion/interiors stores etc.
Instagram has just become a commercial tool really.
