Posting here for more traffic because I am feeling desperate.

I had a thread in Style & Beauty and got some good suggestions but haven't found the right thing yet.
I am short and barrelesque - my arms, legs, shoulders are reasonable but I am very big around the middle with 38FF boobs.
I'm going on my first sun holiday in years following what have been 2 fairly shit years.
I need at least one swimsuit.

I've looked everywhere I can think but I would like suggestions from similar size women who have actually worn the swimwear suggested.

So far I think this one ticks the most boxes but I don't have time to order and return.

Also, as it's a holiday I think I would like something a little less sensible .......... but I don't know what.
Please, please help.

I wore high waisted bikinis. I got both from
ASOS, one was ASOS own brand and one was river island. I felt really nice in them because they hid the flabby bottom part of my stomach but still looked stylish.

Only thing is I'm usually an 18 and had to size up.

Thanks everyone.

I am ordering a Fantasie patterned swimsuit and the Elomi swim bra.

I have a high waisted bikini bottoms so if I'm feeling brave I have a bikini option and if not I can wear the swim bra under other swim suits I have that I don't wear due to the lack of boob support.

How was your holiday, OP?

Pinkkahori · 26/09/2018 14:33

It was great thanks. The Elomi swim bra was great. It meant I could wear some swim suits I had given up on. Didn't brave the bikini outside of the balcony of my apartment though.

I bought a very expensive ruched one piece with clever panels. It looked lovely but, it was so very hot and no chance of a tan.
It was hard to get on and off too.

I ended up with old bikini bottoms and a tank type top I could strip off when I was on my front.

The expensive one is now purely for Center Parcs at the pool.

Might be worth considering where you might be wearing it and how hot you'll get In it. I wish I had!

I wore a hot pink swimsuit with white and pink long kaftan open over that falls to middle thigh or my black tankini with black patterned throwover that sits at hip length.

I have 38jjs so my tankini is underwired from fantasie. They do bra sized swimsuits. I have had the hot pink swimsuit 14 years, bought from Peacocks and I love it.

This one is mega flattering. I’m a size 16 but similar body shape I think

Curvy Kate and Tesco do a very good range of sculpting swimwear which go up to a size 20 I think

buttyblahblah · 26/09/2018 16:40

I wear a black bikini top from Bravissimo and then a swimsuit from Asda with a stomach control panel. It seems more flattering than anything else I've tried and keeps my 34 JJs in the right place.

Joules do some excellent swimwear. I’m big boobed and have always found it to be brilliant. They go up to a 20 too! Might find some bargains in the sale x
